He also said Alan Wake would have the best graphics on any console ever.
...Take that how you want to
It was a pretty good game overall and it sucks not seeing a new IP turn a profit. But then again I suppose it could've used more content.
And lol at the people saying "The game sucked I played the demo". Really? Play full games people before you write one off.
So if they want their game to sell tell cilffy B to shut the f**k up.

Demos are meant to persuade people to buy the full game which means that a demo is supposed to allow a judgment of what the full game is like. If a demo fails to leave a good impression, then the fault lies with the developers, not the people who played it. |
Obviously.
However it is impossible to say with certainty that a game sucks haveing only played 10 minutes of it. Its just funny to me how all the time I see posters running around makeing definitive statements about things they have never experienced. Saying games, consoles, or features suck when in all actuality they have no idea if they do or not.
If Cliff didn't constantly attempt to sack anything playstation related, then maybe this would have sold a few thousand more on ps3. Not that it would have made a difference.

The game wasn't too bad, but it was based on outrageous violence, cursing, and low brow humor. It was fun at first but it got old pretty quick. Not much replay value either. It may pick up sales once it hits bargin pricing. Gears 3 beta helped the sales a lot on the 360.
I doubt Killzone 3 had much effect on the sales of Bulletstorm.

Depends on the genre. An FPS is something you can get into quickly, so ten minutes can be enough to know whether it's worth buying or not. Or if a game is ridiculously bad, then you can also say with certainty that it sucks after a few minutes. Anyway, you can't expect everyone to play through the full game when there is a demo available which at the very least allows them to partly experience the game. Additionally, the HD consoles are so crowded with similar games that a title like Bulletstorm which is just good doesn't cut it anymore for many people. |
Yeah I understand that I'm not like mad at anyone who posted about the game sucking haveing only played the demo its just kinda funny. Even a FPS you can't know for sure if it sucks haveing only played 10 minutes though, maybe just that level is total ass but the rest of the game is decent ya know. I just find it strange how hyper judgemental some people are.
Bit of a shame, thought the game had a good premise... don't really care for the FPS onslaught but this one actually felt like it was trying to do something different and that it actually had it's own character and personality... unlike something like Homefront >_>.
Always planned on picking this up cheap... might see how much it's going for nowadays. Fancy busting out a single player game next i think.
