Depends on the genre. An FPS is something you can get into quickly, so ten minutes can be enough to know whether it's worth buying or not. Or if a game is ridiculously bad, then you can also say with certainty that it sucks after a few minutes.

Anyway, you can't expect everyone to play through the full game when there is a demo available which at the very least allows them to partly experience the game. Additionally, the HD consoles are so crowded with similar games that a title like Bulletstorm which is just good doesn't cut it anymore for many people.

Yeah I understand that I'm not like mad at anyone who posted about the game sucking haveing only played the demo its just kinda funny.  Even a FPS you can't know for sure if it sucks haveing only played 10 minutes though, maybe just that level is total ass but the rest of the game is decent ya know.  I just find it strange how hyper judgemental some people are.
