Forums - Gaming - Five points that will make InFamous 3 a perfect game!

So I just finished InFamous 2, both the evil and the good campaign, collected every blast shard and freed the whole city and I was wondering what could be improved. Well, there isn't much to be inproved, Infamous 2 was a great game as it is, but these things would make Infamous 3 the perfect game:

1. Better musical score. I hate to say it, but the music in Infamous 2 sucked. While some pieces were quite enjoyable, most of the time the music was just annoying. Some people might disagree here, but that's my opinion anyhow. And fix these goddamn voice actors. The German voice actors were so bad my ears started bleeding. I instantly switched to English languages only to find out they weren't good either. Not as bad the German ones, but still terrible.

2. Better presentation. The comic sequences are quite awesome, why not make more use of it? Also, where are the epic moments, like the ones you can see in God of War for example? Infamous 2 definitely made things better (Bertrand and The Beast end fights come to my mind), but I'm still missing some epic moments.

3. More choices. Choices are great. They let you influence the story in a way normal "straight-forward" games could never achieve. They also add great replay value for games. However, simple Black/White are simly not realistic. There is more than simply good and bad decisions. The life is more a grey zone, decisions aren't always just good or just bad. Infamous 3 should offer more than good or bad decisions. A good example would be Mass Effect,  only a few games offer such freedom. I think Infamous 3 has the potential to offer such freedom.

4. Local Multiplayer. The obvious choice. Anyone who played Infamous 2 knows this would add a whole new dimension of gameplay. Infamous 2  had two characters who could help the protagonist in a perfect way. Hell, you could even add Zeke if you give him some weapons (or a superpower?)

5. Less repetitive missions. While the missions were definitely fun, I wished you would have to do than simply "kill all enemies", which is basically the whole main object in all main missions. The side missions offer more variety but it won't take long until they repeat themselves, though this is a flaw most open-world games seem to have these days.

So here you have it, my points where Sucker Punch improve the next Infamous. And don't get me wrong, I loved Infamous 2, and I would give it a 9/10, but with these points, Infamous 3 is a candidate for a 10/10 rating.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

I thought the English voices were amazing and fine it hard to believe that you don't like them, but then again it's your opinion so it's fine.

Voices are fine and I don't want multiplaying. I'm tired of that multiplayer worshipping, we still need good singleplaying focusing game. Rest I agree.

EDIT: Oh, you said Local multiplaying...  Fine then lol.

Multiplayer? ....No

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
