Forums - Gaming - So Microsoft will release their next console in 2013

The question is how much more faster will it be to the 360 as well as the wii U? Are they willing to sell it at as much of a loss as with the 360? And will Sony stay with their ten year PS3 cycle?

??? We have no idea right now

1. Its a Rumour and nothing is confirmed

2. The 10 year cycle doesn't mean that SONY wont release another console,It means that SONY will support the console for 10 years.

3. It will be differently more powerful than the Wii U

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I believe this to be rumor and rumor alone. I see upgrades to the 360's programming and maybe a larger hard drive but nothing more.

BUT if there is any validity at all to this rumor, I'll be first in line to get it.

The HW will surpass WiiU and 360, that's all we really know at this point AFAIK.

Considering the EDD was profiting in 2007, 2 years after 360 launched WITH RROD included, sure they will, X360 seemd to break even pretty fast, and they have a shit ton of live subscriptions to even it out. I don't think they will want to make dramatic losses on each console sold though.

And will Sony stay with their ten year PS3 cycle?

They will even if they release a PS3 this xmas, ten year doesn't mean ten year without a console, it means 10 years manufacturing or/and getting SW support. X360 will reach 10 years and Wii will more than likely reach it too. Probably not the SW side though

If Its a rumour and nothing is confirmed, how can you say it will definitely be more powerful than the Wii U? Assuming you meant definitely.

Short answer: Common sense.

Long answer: Think before you post.

Think before i post?................................................nothin.

Seems probable as they have almost nothing for 2012 exclusive wise to release.......
which means there holding onto titles for XBOX 720 in 2013?
