You know I gotta say I think the character models in Gears 3 are maybe the best I've ever seen on console. Even better than Uncharted. The detail and textures on them are insane.

No matter what I see or hear about Gears of War 3 I just can't get hyped or excited for it...I mean meching around looks like it will be fun but if Gears 3 got delayed another 2 years I just wouldn't really care. The thing i'm most excited for about Gears 3 coming out is seeing what kind of sales it will pull in.

Now don't get me wrong I will most likely end up getting this game and enjoying it within a month of it's release but i'm just not hyped for it.

Well no one can accuse the PS fanboys of stirring the shit first this time. They do look good though. I was left luke warm on the franchise after Gears 2 but 3 is looking like it's gonna be great. Now to go look at Nsanity's video, I'm sure it's sick as hell.

It's amazing how the devs are publicizing the games weakest point, which is the story. I mean it's not complete nonsense, but it isn't deep nor compelling. The majority of the people who buy this game are going straight to multiplayer and the devs know it. The campaign is going to be played in co-op. I don't know who plays Gears alone anymore. Game is just amazing multiplayer....she need to take the focus off of the story, because quite frankly it isnt that great. I never cared about Marcuses father. Everytime a character dies I don't care because the game doesn't give enough character dev outside of dom and Marcus...which is crap to tell you the truth. Carmine needs to die again! :) HORDE FTW!!!! Can't wait!

looks outstanding, cant wait too play this game. gonna replay gears of war 1 and 2 before this monster hits.

How is saying that I think Gears has better character models than Uncharted stirring up shit? If fans of Uncharted are really that offended / worried / insecure about someone haveing a different opinoin about a game then thats their perogative. I played the hell out of Uncharted 2 and I would say as of now it has probably the best character models but what I've seen of 3 doesn't look like much of an improvement at all, though it is slight.

Gears simply has more texture work on its characters. At the end of the day their so close its all gonna come down to personal taste in terms of character models but I like Gears better on that one there's more textures, more detail, and more actually going on with the character, its not just t-shirts and jeans. Now that being said I think Uncharted 3 will be the winner in environments while Gears beats in particle effects.

At the end of the day both will be simply beautiful.
