Forums - Sony - Idolmaster Due for PS3!

It looks like the idol raising experience on PlayStation 3 won't be limited to just those Tales of Xillia costumes that were announced a couple of weeks back. This week's Famitsu reveals that Namco Bandai is readying a PS3 version of Idolmaster 2.

Idolmaster 2 was originally released in February exclusively on Xbox 360. For the PS3 version, Namco Bandai is adjusting the game balance, and including the 360 version's catalogue 1 through 3 download content. The PS3 version also includes Ready!!, the theme song of the Idolmaster anime.

For newcomers to the series, the game will offer difficulty settings. New players are recommended to try out the game's Normal setting. Advanced players can play in Hyper mode.

The PS3 port of Idolmaster 2 will be released on October 27, priced ¥7,980. Namco Bandai is also readying a ¥19,800 "Idolmaster Special Box" which includes the first volume of the Idolmaster anime on Blu-ray, a box that can hold all volumes of the anime, an Idolmaster 2 soundtrack CD, and "Idolmaster Gravure For You!", a PS3 game that lets you take gravure shots of the idols.

Probably not. Kotick has strongly implied that they're getting a cut of Xbox Live subscriptions.
