Is it really that more expensive in other parts of England? In West London it's £10 ($16) for 3D - Including the glasses. (Empire Cinema)
On Tuesdays it's cheaper (in sokme cinemas). On wednesdays if you have an Orange Network phone you get 2 tickets for the price of 1

Well for harry potter it is £9.50 plus 80p for the glasses. so in total it comes to £10.30

£10.30 = 16.62$

$16 for 2D movies ($10 for matinees), 3D carries a $3 premium.

also, parking adds $3-5 per car.

I live in NYC and it varies from theater to theater actually. I only go to certain ones though due to the quality of the theater. The last 3D movie I saw was Transformers 3 which was $18. However I can go to Cross County on a Tuesday and see any movie they have in 2D for $6. Also 3D glasses are free here but I would rather pay for them separate because I usually forget to throw them away so I have a bunch. If I had to pay for them I would only pay once and keep reusing them.
