Good work on showing your cards to the competition MS.

Yea an add-on is gonna kill the 360. I'm sorry its stupid to think that, no add-on is gonna kill the wii.

Hay the PS1 added the dual shock half way through its life span so anything is possible.

EMULATION is the past.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

@Happy squirrel

The ps eye is very popular, so please stop attacking the playstation 3.

On topic:

This will be bundled with the $179.99 Xbox 360.

leo the PSeye is not "popular" by these terms... it is a niche add-on,... the Buzz controllers are more prolific.

OT: The designs look like they took the Playstation controller, ripped it in half and added Wii components... I really hope MS are a bit more original.

they should just be perfecting something behind the scenes thats as revolutionary as the wiimote was this gen, if thats possible.

rather than revealing it this gen and then allowing the others to copy anything new and good, they should keep it hidden till next gen

Everyone loves to steal from Ninty

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

non-standard items NEVER do as well or catch on as much as standard ones. Most developers want to have a 100% possability in sales. They want their games to sell 1:1 with the systems(they never seem to do so..) If you make a game for an add on not packaged with the game(adding to cost thus reducing sales) or to the standard control you'll hurt your bottom line.

 And even then, every single PS1 (except Ape Escape) was still compatible with the original.  When the Dual Analog and the Dual Shock came out, I never bought one.  I wound up getting one for free.  Friggin' controller cost as much as a game.
