I currently own SFIV and am considering getting OOT 3DS for myself. I'm looking forward to Kid Icarus and Super Smash Brothers, as well as an eventual new Zelda. Went to see Green Lantern and enjoyed it after seeing a 3D preview of it on my 3DS. I also downloaded almost all the old Gameboy and Game & Watch games and went through most of them. Bought a bunch of DS games and playing through them. I also got a bunch of dsiWare which some are utilities (like a tuner and a metronome, I play music), and some are games. I mean there's so much you can play anyways, plus I'm on SC2, which is virtually endless with B.Net. I also meet people every now and then in my Mii Plaza and it's fun to see who owns one around me and what they're playing (the game tells you that). Would all that warrant a 250$ purchase? What do you think?

And remember, this is just the begining. We may be able to stream 3D movies very soon, for all I understand from the current trailers and functionality.

what league are you in? Im a plat terran trying to get into diamond. 

I might just not get anymore consoles till the next gen consoles and whichever one has the best games and bang for the buck. It will most likely be the ps4 though because kinect ain't my thing and i am not convinced that the wiiU will actualyl have third party support. I doubt ill ever get a portable console but fro nintendo to make me get a 3ds they would have to do the following things:

-make a 3ds without 3d (not my thing, it does look,But i rather play in 2d.)

-Make an amazing pokemon game (i bought a ds lite simply for pokemon)

-make it 150-180$ *we all know they easily can*

-get rid of friend codes

If they do all that. Ill buy one, easy. 

Im not sold on the vita yet either, but its looking alot better than the 3ds atm, and its not even out. I could play OOT on any other console. The kid icarus games looks pretty cool. And i would never touch SSB without 2 analog sticks. Like i said 3d ain't for me, and i could stream movies on my iphone =p.

But on a serious note, whats your bnet name and code? =D.

Its not hate, its just that im fine with my ds lite for now.

There's only 1 fc and that's locked to the 3DS. It's no diff than a username without all the fancy XxGalakixX69 part.

it just shows that nintendo has no intentions on taking online gaming seriously. Ok fine, take that out. Honestly, i just wanna play starcraft II dammit.

It's been a week since my purchase and i agree! the 3DS is a really good console and you can see that when it gets the games, it will be even better. The 3D is really good as you've said and the augmented games give you a great preview for later on. Hopefully we get some innovative games and some old school ones as well the way the DS did.

I would hold on a bit till the holidays though since the 2 games that are worthwhile imo are SF4 and Zelda (I need to get this game!). And i also agree that the DS games look much better on the 3DS. Great post man!

I'm 60% sold on getting one. I played with one at Best Buy last week and the 3D was awesome. But like the PSP in the early years, there are 3 things keeping me from getting one.

1. No Games!!!!!!(That I want)

2. Price

3. I'm not a handheld gamer.

To elaborate on 3: There is no place other than my living room where I would actually use a gaming system, so a handheld device is almost useless. The only reason I bought a PSP was because I can connect it to my TV and it had games (finally) that didn't have a PS3 version already out.
