Satoru Iwata just bashed Mobile Gaming. Nintendo has been screwing up lately. Now more than ever they seem like a company that doesn't care about its fans and is only interested in making money.

There is already a thread about this.

Nintendo future cellphone will be able to make phone and video calls, shoot photos and videos and, obviously, play games, but it won't play movies and music, PEOPLE DON'T WANT NINTENDO STUFF TO BECOME GENERAL PURPOSE MULTIMEDIA DEVICES. Also, games and phone calls will be region locked.

Maybe this will make people realize what they've been missing when not owning N systems :).

Interesting. Especially considering it is on both mobile platforms.

I have no interest in carrying more than one device and my phone will always win. So having Nintendo IPs on my Android is an amazing possibility.

Releasing smaller games or apps on phones is a great way to advertise the Nintendo brand me thinks.
