The first game was great. Beautiful big open world, no loading times, lot of variation. It was better then the first Ratchet and Clank game. However the 2nd one ruined it for me and I didn't bother getting the 3rd one. Ratchet and Clank had grown into a much better series by then.

Let Ratchet and Clank stick to planet hopping and please make a new Jak and Dexter like the first one. A big exotic planet to explore with a lost civilization to uncover.

Me, it wasn't as good as the Jak games on PS2, but it was certainly worth playing on PSP

Aren't they big enough to do a side project? I would love to have them develop an RPG IP next though.

I would LOVE for a real HD Jak and Daxter. I would enjoy that infinitely more than another Uncharted honestly.

So hopefully at some point they bring the franchise back.

Even if Jak 4 swings into production, I doubt ND will be the ones making it. I suspect it will be given to another (lesser?) developer to make in the vein of the sly series. UC is the second most selling ps3 exclusive IP owned by sony. I dont see sony letting it rest while giving time to Jak 4. Would be silly imo.

Naughty Dog are a small team, and i rather have them be that way because its working for them. I also like the 1 franchise a generation they are doing, something i wish a lot more developers do. Hand jak and daxter to another developer so they are either butcher it or do a good game. Naughty Dog has to focus on Uncharted 3 and then there cart racing game "UnKarted".

I would love for them to go back and make another Jak. While I do love Uncharted a lot, Jak will always be the better franchise in my eyes, if only for one reason: It has TONS of variety. You're basically never doing the same in Jak, most missions are different. While in Uncharted you're basically just shooting and climbing with some breaks here and there. I hope that they will come back to the franchise at some point in time, but I'm not exactly holding my breath for it tbh.
