Family Guy used to be brilliant, but now it's just filled with pointless cutaway gags, musical sequences and side character storylines.

So, I would say Futurama.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I was watching one of the recent episodes. Espescially the cutaway gags.

I went with Futurama. Most solid base of characters out of any of them.

Enjoy most of the others though. Cleveland Show is awful.

South Park > King of the Hill >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Simpsons >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all that dreadful Seth MacFarlane garbage

Never watched the Boondocks, though.

Where does Futurama fit in there?

Oh. Uh... way better than the Simpsons, way worse than King of the Hill.

Hmm I can never really get into King of the Hill. When I do force myself to watch it, I get a couple of laughs in, but the overall theme of the show is just bland to me. I always think to myself, they should have just made this a live action show intead of an animated one. It's probably the least animated cartoon ever made.

It's almost certainly more animated than Beavis & Butt-Head.

I found the show to be an acquired taste. I love it now, after having seen it constantly on Cartoon Network throughout 2009 and 2010 (and this year), but it took me a while to really "get" it, though it was the same way with quite a few shows on this list. When i first started watching Futurama and American Dad at their respective times, i thought The Simpsons and Family Guy were vastly superior, but Family Guy i felt collapsed quicker, while the Simpsons have recovered slightly since the Movie, but the point is now i really appreciate Futurama (though the Simpsons, especially in their heyday, were far superior), and actually think American Dad is consistently better than Family Guy (especially once they really started to explore the show outside of the whole "lol he's a pigheaded CIA agent" thing)

The Boondocks i love, but find harder to compare directly to the others. The Boondocks is like if Spike Lee was more self-deprecating and actually funny. Left-wing black humor, but it's more similar to Chappelle's Show in that it mocks many of the tenats of black american culture (tears Tyler Perry a new one in one episode, actually to the point where Perry threatened to stop producing his shows for TBS because another Turner network was airing that)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Simpsons and Futurama

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

I'd have to say Archer on FX is the best one right now

south park, futurama and family guy, the simpsons is good but the last season are awful.

I

I grew tired of all of them. Today i still watch some of those, but mainly because i used to find them funny. Like South Park, and The Simpsons.

Most of them are too US centered. I would not complain, but hey, even here we have those three dreadful SethMcfarlane cartoons airing on Fox, every.single.day and more than anything else on the network.

My favorite would be Futurama, but i fear the day i would got tired of that too. Never watched Boondocks since it never aired here, but by the looks of it, i think i would like it alot more than any of those shows.

Anyway, to me is something like this (and ruling out the anime, as it would fill the whole list);

Invader Zim; Megas XLR; Futurama; Duck Dodgers; Adventure Time; Flapjack; (and i can't remmember anything more now).

The Simpsons were once good, but all my good memories were washed by the new episodes and even the SethMcFarlane ripoffs (good job here).

South Park will always be #1, with Family Guy a close second. I love how it manages to  point out the flaws of society and pokes fun of many concepts, people, and organizations that deserve heckling, being intelligent/informative while remaining childishly hilarious at the same time.

Aqua Teen is also a favorite of mine with its sheer randommness and insanity.

The boondocks and family guy as of now errr better add south park in as well lol.
