Whoops, sorry, I read Black Ops, and interpreted Modern Warfare 3.

Still when was the first week Black Ops started seeing pre-orders? Activision doesn't unveal a CoD game more then 9 months in advance (often <6 months) so people still buy DLC for the current CoD at the time.

Still impressive for Uncharted considering the low preorders of UC2. I hope this game break 6 million, it deserves to be above MGS4 in lifetime sales.

It will easily sail past 6 million. But can it get 7 million? That's the real question.

Critical reciption means ratings. Like from 1-10 which gets a higher socre.

It's definatly possible, but hard to predict. Uncharted 2 is the game which gave the franchise so much attention, and it showed a large jump in overall quality and sales from Uncharted 1. So naturally pre-orders should be stronger for UC3, as it will likely be of similar quality to UC2, and not UC1. Also trends are showing that basically every big game this fall will be bigger then prior installments (CoD, Batman, Elder Scrolls, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, etc).

However when I read most prediction threads on this website, most people think UC3 will sell about the same as UC2, maybe a little better. UC2 is heading toward 5 million, so I think 6 million is realistic for UC3.

But this is just scwablling now. 6 or 7 million, UC3 will be the second best selling PS3 game only second to Gran Turismo 5. It will be interesting to see how it performs compared to UC2.

God of War III had lots of hype surronding its launch ...

OT: I can see Uncharted 3 opening up to over 1 Million in the Americas alone.
