I can see U3 outselling Gears 1 &2 but cant see it doing better than halo:odst. Im wondering what effect the beta will have on LT sales. There has been a lot of praise for its innovation but also a some criticism from those who loved U2 -reminds me of the cliche about no publicity being bad publicity. I suspect the debate and interest will mean greater sales. Have to agree with dsage 1.5-2 mill FW.

Wait, what? Gears 1 and 2 have both sold more than ODST, so your first sentence doesn't make any sense.

yeah. my bad. Thought ODST had numbers closer to 7-8mill. Having trouble editing my posts.

Halo Reach beat Black Ops in preorders, look how that turned out... Exclusives always get more preorders, don't know why, but thats how it is.

No one expects Uncharted 3 to sell over MW3, Black Ops or even MW2. But it will most likely be the second biggest PS3 exclusive outselling Gears 1 and Gears 2 and also Halo 3 ODST. I predict a launch week of 1.6-2million

Look man, you gotta stop getting your hopes up so high, 9 / 10 of the time, you will be dissapointed.

Preorders are not a perfect indication of sales. Its also worth noting that CoD games get announced in May and therefore Black Ops preorders are only for a few weeks. Black Ops wasn't even that highly anticipated until a few weeks out from release because people were still playing MW2.

Belive me bro I'm doing my best not to degrade or start making really high assumptions for Uncharted 3. I just think it can get ovedr 6 million LTD which sounds pretty realistic. Many people on this site were degrading Uncharted 2 saying it won't even reach Unhcarted 1 sales. Or that it will have trouble reaching even 1.5 million from Oct 17-Dec 31st. It was at around 2.8 million in just a few weeks and it stands right now at over 4.6 million. I don't know if it was due to postive reviews or word of mouth but it sure got a lot of sales next to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Halo 3 ODST. It's not like anyone here is expecting GT sales. So I sounds pretty realistic to me.
