Im a big fan of the ''aliens" movies series and recently saw alien vs. predator 2. There are currently 2 "aliens" themed games being developed right now. A fps using unreal 3 engine developed by gearbox and an "aliens" rpg being developed by obsidian. Discuss. I realize aliens" games have never been top tier titles but the fact that a semi-good developer using unreal engine 3 is making the fps is pretty exciting to me. Dont know what to think of the aleins rpg though.

I wonder if the RPG will use the D&D mechanic like neverwinter and KOTOR. Certainly worth keeping an eye on. Not to bothered about the FPS though.

I wonder if the alien rpg will have you play as an alien or a marine, maybe both. Either way the concept is interesting.

Alien Vs. Predator (And also Vs. human) for the PC was pretty cool. Controlling the alien worked surprisingly well, and generally was a fun shooter. Not sure why I’ve never picked up the sequel. Wouldn’t mind seeing another one though.

Alien Vs. Predator: extinction was a great game! it stopped working on me though so i traded it in! haha i feel sorry for the next guy who bought it used!

Also the movie was worse than the first AVP because I am a big alien fan (i hate predators). Since there was only 1 predator, there was too many aliens being killed. In the first AVP there were lots of predators so it showed them being killed by aliens so i liked that. in AVP 1 the aliens dominated.

Predators are pussies. They lose the battle then what do they do? they set of a giant bomb. Like fucking man up and take a loss, you don't need to blow everything up cause you got your ass kicked. They have all this special technology like a gun on either shoulder and pretty much every type of thermal/night vision you can think of, and what do the aliens have? NOTHING!! they have a second set of teeth that kills people, sharp ass tail, and acid for blood! thats all they have and they still kick the predators ass!! Imagine if the alien had guns/technology as well as all the above stuff! they would be even more unstoppable than they are now!

The next movie should be called Aliens dominating predators, because if it was real thats what would happen. the aliens would dominate. Aliens are quick, agile, ruthless, tough. The predators are none of the above, all they have is high tech weaponry and can go invisible.

Alien vs Predator 2 (movie) shocked me a little. I wasnt expecting to see little kids killed (and babies). The movie was awesome on the amount of combat and how well they kept the style of combat the predator used in the predator series which was good considering the questionable battling in the first movie.

I dunno.. the game might turn out fine, and I haven't seen the second movie yet.. but the first AVP sucked monkey ass. :p

Well I hope the FPS turns out great it should be easy to make a decent one. The original was quite good as the different species had various abilities/skills.

Same here ... one of my favorite movie serie is the Alien serie :D

BTW : AVP2 ( the game ) was pretty damn top tire ;)
