I was wondering who here played online on their PS2 and if it would be a good idea for me to purchase a network adapter for my fat PS2.

Now the gmaes that I would probably playing would be something like this:

Games I own:

-Ratchet Deadlocked

-DDR SuperNOVA

-Tony Hawk's 3

Games to buy:

-Madden

-Twisted Metal Black Online

What do you guys think would it be worth it for around 50$ or is online on PS2 just not that great? Also is the browser fast enough and can it play online videos?

who would there be to play against? most people are on the next-gen consoles buddy! also, the ps2's online wasn't all that gr8! the only games i played on it were ratchet: up your arsenal, and unreal tournament 2004.

First to you its a good purchase, because there are several million PS2 users out there that still jump online and haven't switched to the current generation yet.

I would check out Killzone for the PS2 also, heard that the community was pretty good and it can prep you up for when Killzone 2 releases for the PS3.

Also, the PS2 does not have a Internet Browser, not sure who told you that.

Exactly they were about trick you into getting it because you notice the Internet Browser. PS2 does not have a Internet Browser.

Get the slim ps2 better, for $129 you get a new ps2 and built in interent.
