Yes, buy a DS or a PSP, both are good handhelds. I had both until I gave my DS away. I like the PSP better you should just check them both out.
Get a DS. You wont regret it. Fantastic game library, veryportable with low load times/battery consumption and sleek to boot. You'll be the life of the party. In fact sell your Wii, use the money to get a DS and live like a king.

Going to college is better for psp because it does everything you need.
Get ds for games only though(I personally hate it ).
Get a DS, then bring your Wii to law school and get SSBB.
