Forums - Microsoft - Tales of Vesperia console "CONFIRMED"....

Its a pretty sad day if this DOESN'T come to the PS3 (as well) - it really, really should.

its most likely timed exclusive if MS bought it shams like ES, unless they are paying for development like with infinite undiscovery

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Just do a Tales of Symphonia, release it on one system in Japan then release it on the Nintendo system in America. After they see the success of Tales of Symphonia 2 I'm sure they'll have no problem in downgrading this game (if needed) to fit on the Wii stateside.

it probably will end up on the ps3. i can't see it selling anymore than 100k worldwide on the 360. what a waste.

I figured it was, at the very least, going to be on the 360. The trailer looked very similar to Eternal Sonata. Very crisp, cell shaded. Makes getting a 360 that much more easier now, that it's coming with one of my favourite series. :)

It could be a timed exclusive. But it shouldn't come as a surprise to find out that even more unannounced X360 JRPG games are in development since a senior official at Microsoft Japan has already said they plan on doubling the X360's game library in Japan next year. It's obvious that Microsoft hasn't given up their efforts in Japan.

Either this is a timed exclusive (like Eternal Sonata) or Namco Bandai wants to lose money on the game. (unless of couse Microsoft is paying them a whackload of money)

I think this will follow suit of previous Xbox 360 RPG releases in Japan. Sell 45000 - 70000 in the first week, then fade into oblivion.

Very strange stratagy of Namco, but hey Tales games never sold alot, maybe this time 360 owners will actually buy an RPG.

If 360 cannot change its demographic it will have the same faith as the original Xbox and PS3 will race past it. I don't understand why Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata won't sell while every 3rd class shooter sells like crazy.

But good news for 360, this might be the final nescessary game to convince me to buy a 360 over a PS3.

Having bought a PS3 today, I'm fairly sure this is going to hit the PS3 sooner or later. I mean, a port won't cost much and 360 sales are hardly going to be enough of their own, I'm going to keep hoping anyway.

Crazy decision by Namco anyway, why would they possibly not want this game on the Wii or DS?

Wow so why would Namco want to put a game out on a system they know the game will flop on?

Yea I don't see this as an official confirmation yet. I'll wait for Namco to state it, not this. I mean it makes it more lean towards PS360, but Namco isn't dumb enough to put a big series like Tales on the 360, where it will most likely flop.
