To help celebrate its 20th birthday, Bungie is giving out totally sweetblue flaming helmets.

 

To score your own totally sweet blue flaming helmet, you’ll need to register on Bungie.net or through the Bungie iOS app, according to Joystiq.

You’ve got until bungie Day – July 7 – to grab one, along with a commemorative name plate.

Not convinced? Maybe you need to see them in action. Check out the trailer below, produced through a collaboration between Bungie and Red vs Blue.

The Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach also included a flaming helmet, but it wasn’t a totally sweetblue one, previously restricted to Bungie staff only.

I have. You have to go to Bungie.net, on the homepage there will be info about how to get the flames and nameplate. Basically, you sign in, click where they tell you to, enter your email and DOB, open new tab and check your email. If the confirmation email isn't there yet, go back to Bungie tab and select the option to resend, I had to do this all three times. Then at Bungie go to your account info where you can change the nameplates and you should see "Bungie" as an option when you scroll down.
