Killzone probably has the single worst characters in terms of a AAA game. I mean the dialouge in that game is a whole new level of awful.

But the gameplay and overall presentation are astounding and more than make up for it.

secondly would be Kratos. What an angry jerk. I'm sure he'd kill me in 2 seconds if we ever met so I at least feel justified.


I would suggest not to watch the Animal Crossing Movie, Tom Nook is a even bigger jerk then in the games...thouhg I did love the movie....

 

Anyway ontopic I would say Boy from A Boy and His Blob because he doesn't deserve such a cute blob to hug!

Raiden in MGS2, and most definitely Squall...he has got to be the biggest pussy in gaming history.

Marcus Phoenix I cannot stand, but the gameplay made up for it and the Cole Train made me smile lol. Leonard in WKC, I enjoyed the game but the voice acting for his character was absolutely horrendous "I don't think he wants a belly rub" wtf!?!?! Link in the Zelda games, with exception of Majora's mask. I disliked Leo in Zone of the Enders 1 but loved the game (he redeemed himself in part 2 although not the main character then).



Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I like Uncharted 2 (don't love it) but I can't stand Drake, I think he is the most generic and boring character out there today. I get that he's supposed to be the "every man", but he looks like a reject from a Wal-Mart sales ad. Even his voice is ridiculously generic, that voice actor is like in every game ever made.

I don't care what people think, I like my characters to be larger than life. Not ripped off from some SuperCuts commercial or some Axe Body Spray advertisement.

I think I've found a kindred spirit! I absolutely loath the characters and dialogue in Killzone 2; completely put me off completing the campaign. Even by FPS standards it's, like you say, a whole new level of awful.


Haha yeah I know my standards are usually pretty low in terms of dialouge and story in a FPS but Killzone actually manages to make other FPS's with shallow stories look like incredibly deep RPG's with their dialouge and story.

I mean I love the gameplay and actually Platinumed Killzone 3 but gosh are the characters just horrible.

Justin from Grandia. I hate pretty much everything about that guy--from his name to his voice. While I love the game, I played through it with a pissed off look on face because of this guy. There are few things in a video game more infuriating that being forced to control a ridiculously annoying protagonist for what must have been 60 hours.

I agree. Sev is boring and generic and Rico needs to drown himself.

yep they are bad, but so is the walking animations. terrible. 

I rather want to be playing the helgast then the isa.
