Sorry guys, been away for four days at connecticon without internet.
It seems to me that Hat investigated linkz and heph investigated me. That makes all too much sense.
What doesn't fit is that they both investigated on night 1, correct? I read someone say that Hat bluffed, but then I also read, "I'm just glad I didn't investigate prof". So, 2 cop investigations happened on night 1? And will happen every other night? Furthermore, someone else claimed jack of all trades (good on you, because I thought it was Hat).
We also have the information derived from Linkz that Linkz discussed with mafia on night 1, and that he did indeed (like I saw) that he had a role copping type of ability. We also have his quote where he said, "I'm going to be displeased with GoW", which was then explained by Heph that a cop scan should not work on a spy.
Lastly, we have Hatmoza claiming that Vette is scum.
At this time, it is impossible to figure out if Hat is lying scum or not. Linkz may have just been trying to throw off the town, since he stil wins with the mafia. He might have written the word "target" somewhere, when he referred to "my target is quite dangerous", had his actions not been known by the mafia. There could also be some way that they do know his actions.
I had figured that Hatmoza did know his role somehow without being a cop and was sacrificing him. I was thinking role cop, but as it turns out, spy has that ability! So, Hat had a major bluff...
I'm guessing that the problem here is that 3 mafia is typical for a 12 players game, and town has a stump. So, it's an 11 player game. The question is, "is the mafia 3 plus a traitor, or is it 2 plus a traitor". I'm siding more with 2 plus a traitor.
Yet, Linkz giving up is quite strange. If he was actually unscannable, then he should have known that Hat was bluffing. Indeed, it also makes sense why he would say Hat was a crazy cop. Yet, Hat pushed really really hard to get Linkz lynched, and refused to cave in when Linkz said he was wrong. He said that Linkz was blaming the role for the flip that he got, and was therefore proof. It was at that time that it should have been obvious that Hat was lying, since he started to use reasoning rather than his role info.
How Linkz did not know he was bluffing doesn't make much sense, unless it had simply been a lapse in judgement. Again, Hats case was just not very convincing, other than having the investigation.
Honestly, I am comfortable lynching Hat, and then Vette.
