This 100%. Here's hoping Generation is just as good, though I doubt it. The fights between Naruto and Pain,  Itachi and Sasuke and Jiraiya and Pain were superb.

Those were incredible fights, but after those there have been other good fights in the series, if you´d been paying atention to the manga, or even the anime, you´d know that.

It´s awesome we are getting the sequel, and after the good sales of the game in America, a localisation is a no brainer, can´t wait to try all the cool new characters.

So far they've only used fights from the anime, so if they stick to that the only good fights I can think of are between Sasuke and the Raikage and Sasuke and Danzo, none of which are even close to the awesomeness of the ones against Pain (maybe a bit the one between Kisame and Killer Bee)

imo ninja storm 2 was a step backwards for the series they simplified the gameplay so that they were no clashes, only one jutsu per ninja, less impressive specials etc i love the series but i hope that in the next one they bring those things back imo they made gameplay more challenging and fun

Yes, now that you mention it, they only use fights from the anime, and to be honest i´m now more into the manga, so i agree with you,but there is still good material there and hopefully they will make it look epic, specially since killer bee has ben a lot more active than before and he is awesome.

Agree with you, the cinematic feeling of the ultimate jutsus was nerfed on the second game, i guess they did it to make the combat a little more fluid, because they were long cutscenes and they kinda break the action, they tried to find some kind of balance and i think they achieved it somehow, but i want to be more of them, probably two or three per character, they have the material to do so, and though the controls were good, they were a bit on the simple side, some tweeks could be done here and ther to make it a little deeper and challenging, at this point more experienced people will be buying the game.

I hope the game includes part of the storyline going on right now, for this 4th Ninja War arc is freaking EPIC!!!!!

The last game was great, having seen the trailer i just hope this new one isnt a cheaply recycled game.
