in that case the 6th gen never existed.
The GC, GBA, PS2, XBOX and DC collectively don't even come close to the awesomeness of the PSX, let alone with the GB, Saturn and N64.

hmm yea your right power and ram does help the gameplay mechanis alot. Though in terms of controls could something like the wiiu's remote run on the regular wii? |
Sure - technically such system already exists in form of PS3+PSP pair so with Wii having Wi-fi card it wouldn't be a problem to make something similar (as long as screen would be low resolution)

It comes after the previous release. Seriously though, the current generation is comprised of PS3, X360, and Wii. You can't argue against that. Next gen will be Wii U, PS4, and XNEXT unless something unforeseen causes one of them to bow out completely.
It doesn't matter if one of the consoles is way more powerful or underpowered than the others. Only that its the current supported main offering.
The 3DS was the start of the 8th generation.
Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.
Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
