The popularity of the wii is going to bring more franchises to it. Rock band will be good for it, but no plans for rock band wii that I know of yet sorry

I'm pretty sure harmonix said they would "absolutely" bring Rock Band to the Wii. Now with the success of Guitar Hero, I think it's just a matter of when.

Exactly. I think they're waiting on Nintendo to provide tools to third parties for reading and writing to the SD card, which will likely happen with the release of SSBB. DLC is an important part of the Rock Band platform.

Rock Band 2 next year will certainly have a Wii version.
