I'm gonna say this is probably just an estimate by SEGA rather than an actual release window. We probably won't be hearing a release window from Nintendo until their usual winter conference at the earliest

Nintendo wanted to focus this E3 on introducing the controller, because that is the most important part of the console, the experience with the controller.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Normally I wouldn't buy it, but it does correlate the rumors a while back that Rockstar's releasing GTA5 around June and was planning a simultaneous launch with Wii U.

I mean, how cool would it be to have Rockstar present at Nintendo's E3 2012 press conference to announce GTA 5 as a launch game for Wii U with exclusive interactivity via the new controller. Then Ninty announces everything out in stores next week or so. It'd be like Sega with the Saturn, only highly successful.
