i really hate to mak a thread about this but i'm havin some problems with my ps3.

 just recently bought it and set it up today, i bought a couple games to go with it, assasins creed, pro evo 8, oblivion and armoured core 4. every game worked fine and so did the ps3 until i tried assasins creed, whenver i put the game in it jus comes up with a blank screen. so being desperate to play it i returned it and got another copy and the same problem has happend, whereas all the other games work fine. i have no idea what the problem is. i even put in the update disc that came with the ps3 and it says theres nothin to update.

 any ideas or soluions here would be appreciated ppl

Delete all the data of AC on your HDD, and turn off your ps3, put the disc in again and then play it.

Assasins creed can freeze up on PS3, mine has 2 or 3 times, but never at the beginning

Its some sort of bug with the PS3 version. I remember reading an article about this, online somewhere. Have you updated your PS3 firmware? or even the game? There was supposed to be an update that was released soon after AC came out that was supposed to fix the issue

my advice to trade it by Uncharted. Uncharted is 10 times better than AC.

Ps: I own both and got all 1000 medal points in uncharted (at least 25 hours) and quit AC after the 3rd assassination(about 3 hours or so)

Sorry dude haven't tried assassin's creed so this is never happened to me before. I agree ith krik though, i haven't played AC, but Uncharted is a great game.

On topic, I would suggest you to logoff from PSN. AC works fine for me even when I'm connected but I remember some people saying this helped them with the game stability.
