Inafune needs to show more than talk.

When a developer face is appearing more than his games, something is wrong.
It's been more than 6 months since that Penguin King of Pirates game announcement and we don't have a single screenshot.
And now we don't even get a title for this game!

"Alongside two variations each of Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch (large and small) the upcoming Vita first person shooter Resistance: Burning Skies will also feature a third mode: Survival.


Keep your finger on the trigger and pray.
Whilst full details are likely to emerge on this new mode in the coming days from the PlayStation team, TheSixthAxis can reveal some snippets of information.

Firstly, Survival is online and for between six and eight players, and is split into two teams: human and Chimera. At the beginning of the level the humans outnumber the Chimera but as humans die they join the enemy team.

To win, at least one human must survive the time period set. Otherwise the Chimera team wins.

We’ve not tried this mode yet – multiplayer is blocked off in our build at the moment – but all this is listed in the game’s manual. It sounds like a neat twist on the idea, and Resistance’s online modes round off a nice little package.

I'm hyped for this game but Nihilistic Software track record is quite mediocre, they really burt me with Heroes on the Move I was hyped for that game as well. Hopefully they'll step it up this time.

I'm thinking that a port is very plausible. They could also include Mercenaries 3D with Revelations so it is totally worth it for Vita gamers.

 

And thinking about the RE PSP game that never came out... It's possible it turned into Revelations but there is the possibility that they converted the proyect into a VITA proyect and abandoned the PSP version. Just Hoping.
