With Marvelous in Japan providing plenty of games to choose from, some games end up going under the radar like Uppers. Do you by chance plan to return to the possibility of Uppers, or is the Vita exclusivity something that isn’t feasible for XSEED?

I mean I do think that we can always go back and check out some of Marvelous’s older IPs that maybe we have passed on before or didn’t get a chance to publish. However, a lot of the time when you do that you need to consider bringing it to another platform which would usually be PC making the most sense.

I'm ok with a PC release as long as Vita gets one too.

Depressing, though. He fully admits Xanadu Next bombed on PC and yet the interview was all PC this, PC that. Go away, XSEED used to be cool :(

Np and yeah it seems their main focus is PC these days. Still a little pissed about Trails of the Sky 3 being only for PC, but after all they've done to get that localized I'll still get it on Steam. Least we have Aksys bringing us goodies like Tokyo Xanadu.

They went from being among my favourite Vita companies to "ehh" for me, it's crazy. Even now, PQube are the ones who are bringing me Akiba's Beat in Europe, lol.

TC hurts, but still. Really wish they could've tried a little harder on the Evo ports.

Still haven't finished the second Utawarerumono game rofl and I never used the dlc characters in my Japanese import (My immersion :P).

No platforms yet which I will never understand, but day one if its on vita. I love this show !
Edit : I played some of the Toukiden 2 demo. I think it runs better than the japanese demo, though I still havent reached the boss that tanked the game for me and made me not import it.

Apparently they're super overpowered, so you may not want to get them right away anyways.

So, Deer God is coming to Vita in April:

But the most interesting part of that blog post was this:

 

"Certainly this is only the first of many PS Vita games to come from Blowfish"

 

Now, Blowfish aren't the most interesting studio. They were supposed to bring Gunscape to Vita (a Quake-style FPS) but that fell through, however they're finally now working on Vita, except on someone else's game (Crescent Moon Games).

Crescent Moon are a fairly big mobile publisher and they've worked on some awesome titles including Morphite, which is an awesome looking Metroidvania crossed with No Man's Sky:

So if you want games like that to come to Vita, make sure you buy Deer God.
