For anyone who's not been totally scared away from Kickstarter, here's two pieces of news.

Sharin no Kuni (visual novel) is on the verge of hitting its Vita goal. You can pledge for a physical copy that'll release through Limited Run Games. If you pledge you'll get a Kickstarter-exclusive cover for the game. If not, there should still be a physical release down the line:

And devs of Plague Road (turn-based strategy-RPG) have confirmed they're teaming up with Limited Run Games for physical version of their game. Same deal, you get a Kickstarter-exclusive cover for pledging. Again, game looks like it's going to hit its goal easily so consider pledging if interested:

So Sen III seems to be confirmed as a ps4 exclusive :(

Still there day one, but I was hoping this last one would make it to the vita. It was a good run.

So Falcom seem determined to take the "let's piss off Vita fans" crown this week (taking it from Square-Enix's hands after Dragon Quest Heroes II).

Not only is Sen III skipping Vita, but Ys VIII is getting extra content on PS4:

Which means chances of western release just got lower unless it gets patches in (which it didn't for Tokyo Xanadu).

Some slight news to soften the blow:

Dex is out in Europe:

And Kero Blaster has been rated for Vita:

Deusvania! Coming right off of Mankind Divided, I'm kind of excited for this.

"Ma'am! Madam! Milady! What'll be your taste? Guns? Semen? Intel?"

Slightly sad about Ys possibly not getting vita version localized and Sen III being ps4 exclusive, but I was expecting it after their hints previously. An end of an era ! Trails sky trilogy, Zero and Ao no Kiseki, Sen/Sen II, Ys celceta, Ys VIII , tokyo Xanadu and Ys origin. Amazing support T_T.

Ys, I'm conflicted about. I loved the vita version and was planning on playing it again soon, so I'm sad vita folks might not get to try it out, but not having loading between areas, the hub town also being one big seamless area and more DANA story is too cool for me not to double dip on the ps4 version :p

Hopefully Falcom makes switch versions of their future games' because I really don't want to play on consoles...

I may be jumping the gun on that one.  XSEED are a good company and I don't expect them to skip Vita version so easily like Koei/Square did.

But I certainly think it's possible with the missing content.

Muv-Luv updates:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/muvluv/muv-luv-a-pretty-sweet-visual-novel-series/posts/1765250

  • Muv-Luv PS Vita port has been ongoing since our previous update, and we may have some big news in a month or so from now. Please stay tuned PS Vita fans!
  • Physical rewards will be shipped as soon as possible once Muv-Luv Alternative is released on Steam. If you have pledged for PS Vita physical, your rewards will be reserved for a second batch of shipping which which will be a few months later—depending on how much time the following will take:
    1. Muv-Luv Alternative porting
    2. Cartridge production
    3. Sony approval .
To elaborate further, let's say the PC backer's physicals ship in June. Pledges containing a copy of the physical PS Vita version will likely be sent by September.
This is still a rough (worst case) estimate, and rewards may ship early if everything goes well.. We'll keep everyone posted!
