How many vita games do you have in your library?

0-10 184 31.51%

11-20 109 18.66%

21-30 69 11.82%

30+ 215 36.82%

Total:577

So, I've been thinking long and hard these past weeks, but I've pretty much decided that I want to create an American PSN account for the few American games that I already own and the games that are still to come. Problem is, I have no idea what implications this brings with it, and I figured I'd ask here since I'm sure there are some experts.

When creating an account, I think you have to add an adress that is in the country you're creating the account for. Is it save to just put some random adress there or have there been any problems in the past? Should I create an US account or a Canadian one (and do US games work with Canadian PSN-DLC and vice versa)? What is the best way to add money to your account? Are there any problems in doing so or is it easy to do?

Thanks in advance. I hope it isn't TOO much of a hassle.

I hope too a Vita release, but not sure if tecmo want to remake again Ninja Gaiden 3, wasn't that good at the beginning and with the port to WiiU became just a decent game, for what I tried on the demo of PS3's later port. Seems like the put on a hold the franchise meanwhile, anyway they don't do games that often... probably next title will be a nextgen one... and even a re-hd edition for PS4/one of the first tree is possible XD

i know NG 3 is got poor reviews and i feel bad for Tecmo Koei. Even Yaiba: NGZ got meh reviews.

if there's a petition for porting NG3 and Yaiba to vita i would sign many many times for it to happen :)

I would sign too..

and about tyhe rear touch pad.. I allways thougth it was a pretty good idea... a shame it wasn't used that well in most of apps/games... mostly because the hardness of holding the Vita, but is something that can be solutioned with a good craddle, PDP trigger grip is a great one.. and make me think, Vita should have been more like a controller with triggers and such others thinks... it doesn' look that bigger and feel better on the hands...

My preview of Lost Dimension is online http://ryuz4ki57inenglish.wordpress.com/2014/08/05/preview-lost-dimension/

Thanks for the preview, but I have to disagree on one point.

You state that the combat system is similar to Valkyria Chronicles'. But the peculiarities of that combat system are the fact that you can activate a unit multiple times during the same turn, and that as soon as unit moves, the game goes real time as its opponents start an automatic (and sometimes lethal) reaction fire. In Lost Dimension you have none of this.

That's why I said "similar" and not "indentical" :)

I use the SONY offices in NY address lol You can use whatever, it's OK.

I created a US account, but mostly buy games from Canada. All works fine.

The only way to add money is via PSN cards, you can get them on ebay or amazon. To add money via either credit card ot paypal, your credit card needs to have US/Canadian address.

It's easy to do so, and it's fast. You pay a bit more since you buy from a reseller, but it's like a 1-2$.

Nippon Ichi first quarter (apr-jun): http://nippon1.co.jp/ir/index.html

Operating income by segment

Online: 86 million yen (+8%)
Licensing: 25 million yen (+12%)
Package games: -43 million yen
Others: -1 million yen

Total: 1.3 million yen (~$12,300 dollars)

They paid a lot of taxes, so:

Net income: -15 million yen.

Sales of packaged games increased to ¥545 million (from ¥335 million), but operating loss also increased to ¥43 million (from ¥37 million).

----------------------------------------------

Nihon Falcom first three quarters (oct-jun): http://www.falcom.co.jp/kaisya/ir/index.html

Operating income: ¥295 million (+512%)
Net income: ¥197 million (+538%)

Sales by segment:

Products: ¥395 million (+8.3%)
Licensing: ¥465 million (+74.9%)

"Licensing" includes the western sales of their games (they don't have a foreign branch)

Holy crap. Western sales made up the majority of their income. That's incredible!

well at least the slim version has bigger space for finger rests.

but i won't trade my 1000 version just for this......i'm already in love with my vita as it is.

the above one is 1000 OLED version and the below is 2000 LCD version

Playing Velocity Ultra at the moment - amazing.  Disappointed I never got around to it sooner.

BigFest is now coming to PS4 & PS3 as well as Vita.  I was interested in this game, but they're going heavy on the F2P & band angle and now I'm not as interested.

Risk of Rain is running on Vita.

Sounds like Severed (from Drinkbox Studios) is coming to Vita at some point.

Got Monster Hunter 2G cause my friend was nagging me to get it lol. Anyways got extra left in my account any good psp/ps1/psn games i should get.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont
