Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment sequel in the works. Seems like it'll be for Vita again too.
Wow. Genuine Vita success story there!

I see the article makes no mention of it so maybe it's just rumors, but it seems the sequel might be taking place in Alfheim Online (ALO for short) . Never mind, it was just speculation :p

Not to mention the contradictions in that 4 paragraph article. :siliconera:

Log Horizon is amazing. SAO was very good as well until the second arc started, and then it went to shit. Not interested in the light novels either, due to Kirito being terribad as a protagonist. Log Horizon, though, is everything I wanted out of a MMO-based anime. |
Yep, seems you have the exact same opinion as me on this as well. Feels good not to be alone lol

I just recently finished watching Attack on Titan, and I loved it, hopefully the next season will be soon. And now I'm watching SAO, it's very enjoyable and fun. I don't like to wait a week for an episode, so I'll just wait for the entire season, and then after that will play the Vita game. Oh, and yes, I am a casual anime fan, just as I'm a casual gamer. With huge backlogs in both anime and Vita departments. |
Sorry, but that's NOT GONNA HAPPEN SOON, SnK is a ephimeral succes... the anime takes up to chapter 48 of the manga, and there are barely 59 (released last week) chapters until now... so don't expect a new season coming soon... just some ovas or may be a movie... but people will not rememeber or hype about shingekli next year...

Don't Famitsu scores come from 4 randomers they interview? It's 4 individual reviews out of 10. Meaning 36/40 is the equivalent to 4x 9 out of 10 reviews. I'm not sure with their review format they're so open to being bribed, however there are cases of zealous fans overhyping games.

I don't know about the hype, I don't follow those news much. Didn't even know it was a comic book. I just really enjoyed the story, and am very interested in what happens next. I don't really care if it's a movie or next season, as long as it advances the story.
I thought that those 25 episodes were all, had I known that it's not finished I would have waited, I don't like to make pauses when watching series...

If I remeber well, they aren't four random people they interview, are four reviewers, and they score acording how much they liked the game, 36/40 can be a average of 9/10, but still could have been one 7, one 9 and two 10... or any other possible combination that reach 36/40... is kinda misleading if You don't know each individual score... but they base their objectivity on that they choose 4 different reviewers with differents likes and stuff... that's why those 40/40 were a mythical achievement that only ONCE per generation was achieved but some games... but more recently they have been giving more perfect scores and that have been leading to some rumours about paid scores...
Still 36/40 is a great score, here and there... most games achieve under 35...
GUYS! I didn't knew that One Piece Unlimited RED had a Physical edition on the US!! ONLY FOR GAMESTOP -.- there's one at least! and include some exclusive DLC.

I just played the first levels of "LEGO Batman DC Super Heroes" on the Vita... it's free for European PS+ subscribers this month and I really like the LEGO games. After that I tried out some of the other versions: 3DS (Demo), iPad (was on sale for €0.89), PS3 (Demo) and PC (bought it for €6.99 only 5 months after release).
Obviously the Vita version it can't hold a candle against the prettier versions with more complex levels for home consoles and PC, but it is still a fun game and IMHO it is the best mobile version while rated the worst mobile version.
The iOS-version looks nicer than the Vita-version (at least on my iPad Air), but the touchscreen controls are shitty. Had they added MFi-compatibility so you can play it with a gamepad, it would probably be the best mobile version:
The controls on the Vita are sooo much better and the graphics are "okay" (except of the prerendered cut-scenes... these look the same like the 3DS-video sequences):
The pixelated 3DS version is by far the ugliest version, additionally it has serious performance issues (15 - 20 fps)... but at least it has good controls:
The 3D-effects of the 3DS-version aren't very good either compared to many other 3DS titles... that surprised me, since all LEGO games are stereoscopic references on PC, the 3d-effect is excellent with 3D vision!
My ranking of the different versions: PC 3D Vision >> PC 2D > PS360 >>> Vita >> iOS > 3DS
Long story short: if you like LEGO games and want to play them on the go, give the Vita version a chance despite its 62 MetaScore... especially if you get it for free via PS+.
