Hey anyone here want to do a few rounds of Soul Sacrifice Multiplayer with me right now? I really would like to see how efficient it would be to play with people from my friendslist where we can actually communicate strategies.

I've had a few really good matches with strangers where we moved as one.
-Player 1 Use Time Magic to stop Archfiend
-Player 2 Using Group Heal Spell to counter act P1's health depletion
-Player 3 Summons Golems to lay onslaught on Archfiend, Then barrage with same element
-Player 4 Supplements Team by Assist Damage Dealing and Fending off small enemies.

In those few fights we ran like a well oiled machine......it was beautiful. I want to experience that again!

Edit: My PSN is ForeverCloud

Greatness Awaits

PSN:Forevercloud (looking for Soul Sacrifice Partners!!!)

What do you guys think about Valve´s new handheld Steamboy? It´s way more powerful than the Vita.

Is the Vita really doomed now?

It's not Valve's.

It´s Nintendo´s? (Steamboy)

Edit: Saw it now, it is third party.

Vita was always doomed by the lack of Sony support, specially SCEA. I'm not sure about this new handheld, it won't have a single exclusive title but it will feature a very nice library of games, so it sales performance will be very interesting to watch and hopefully it will be a massive. Also, no d-pad? No thumbsticks? Not sure if this handheld is my thing and I'm a massive handheld fan!

I don't think it can sell even half of what Vita has sold.

Sounds expensive, battery life will suck, and  I don't think It will receive many exclusvie games.

How much has Nvidia Shield sold as a matter of interest, does anyone know?

It's out?

This kinda sums up why I don't see the Steamboy doing much. That said, Gizmondo was actually a great bit of kit. Anything similar to that that can play lots of older PC games would be awesome.

Yeah I don't see it selling well, but I would actually like to see it selling tons of hardware just to show Sony not all hope is lost when it comes to handhelds.

What's that? A handheld that might play some decent Western games? I'm in! If Vita's lineup can't shift consoles though, I don't see this managing much better either sadly.

Remember, everyone says the reason Vita fails is the games are all available on home consoles with big screens. So a handheld device that only plays games designed for big screens is doomed. Ironically, it sounds awesome for my needs!

Vita fail because all AAA games they got are late port exclusive AAA games would save Vita

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

A weak Steam-machine isn't going to run PS4/XB1 games well in a few months either. Meaning they might as well not be on it.

Nvidia still doesn´t reveal sales figures, but they say sales were great a while back. Don´t know now.

News from last year. Can´t find anything more recent from sales.

A handheld with SteamOS...so it will only play games which are

  • linux-compatible AND
  • controller-optimized AND
  • not very hardware-hungry

Additionally, they have to sell the handheld with a profit, so it will be very expensive. It's no project of Valve, who could offer a Steam handheld under production costs. There ain't even another big player behind it like Nvidia, who can afford some exclusive deals or financial losses, if the project fails.

Yeah, Vita is really doomed.
