Has anyone tried the demo of Toukiden Kiwami? Tecmo Koe really know how to improve their Vita Games !

So when was the last time you played Killzone on PC again?

I know it may be a shock to you, but Western gamers want Western games. You are the niche exception and if people like you form the mainstream of a console, it's dead (in the West).

I do want an epic wRPG. Much more than another jRPG, which I already have a lot of and only really want Persona 3 Golden and Persona 5 later on. I'd take a TES/Witcher/Dragon Age/Mass Effect/KOTOR/Gothic/etc. over any jRPG.

It depends, I personally think Japanese games tend to be better to have on a handheld in most cases and I'd personally take a jrpg on Vita over ps3, maybe 4 depending on the difference. But some AAA names like LittleBigPlanet are perfect fits for Vita, I think Killzone was surprisingly a great fit, which proves these AAA games are good for Vita as long as the dev is dedicated on it running right.

I like more japanese games more than westerns, but I agree with You... probably west market for Vita needs more western games.. BUT look at 3DS.. they don't have western games at all, actually Vita have more WGames than 3DS. Then, what Vita need to be succesful on the west? actually better marketing, in that nintedoes what SONY don't. Need games of broad appeal, games that people would want to buy a vita to play on it. I doubt that a new COD would do better, I think that a FF and a MGS will do, but you count down Konami and Square Enix, CRAPcom too... but then there are SONY first party studios and IPs, NOT EVEN SONY WESTERN STUDIOS ARE SUPPORTING THE SYSTEM ANYMORE. So sorry to tell you but Vita is for now on a handheld for niche indies and jrpgs and such...

Not that I complain, but realy a shame such good machine is left forgotten.

BTW i wouldn't count on EA making anymore game, in the last trailer of Fifa, Vita wasn't there.. there's a reatil thatlisted Fifa 15 (legacy edition said) but if true is probably last year edition with updated players... I was hoping nothing great from this E3, but I think this is the last year when we can have hopes of Vita being saved, if Gamescon doesn't have surprise for us from SONY or any other dev... let's forget about Vita doing a comeback. I'lll just wait for TGS and get hyped with all those jRPGs and other nice japanese games that I love and that highly probably NISA, XSEED, ATLUS and others will have for us some time later...

@badgenome: I tried Bravey Default demo, if you understand a thing about that game tell me... the little I tried was awfull, a shame i was hoping to get a 3DS JUST FOR THAT GAME, after trying and with Sq-Ex being a asshole with Vita probably I'll pass on getting a 3DS anytime soon, ecept for that i'm not interested on any other 3DS game, may be Resident Evil revelations because uI think it looks better on 3DS than on consoles. Anyway, I'll try later again with Bravely...

As someone who has a love hate relationship with MonHun games because I enjoy more RPG like tropes like leveling, story, and stat building like in Soul Sacrifice, will I like Freedom Wars?

I never played God Eater, but it did always interest me.

I actually really enjoy Destiny of Spirits. I just think the thing that hurts it the most is it HAS to be tied to internet to even work. I refuse to ever try AT&T's horribly overpriced 3G again, and while i'm on my commute i don't have access most of the time. This hinders me from playing this game like I want to.

Yeah, I'll check out the demo. I'm interested to see for myself why so many people think it's omg best jrpg evarrrr and so many others think it's worse than FFXIII.

Ok, but what you and most people who don't understand Vita is you want BRAND RECOGNITION. Because the Vita has plenty of AAA quality games but they are new IPs mostly. Vita gets trumpeted as having no games because it doesn't have household names like Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, GTA.

As proven by the horrendous COD Blacklist, having a big name doesn't always mean quality. Sony has properly used most of their AAA First Party games to try and recover the Vita but most of their 1st Party games are totally new to console space, let alone the handheld space. 

I can't deny that these Brands are the ones people look for and flock to though.

Some pages back I pointed out that Vita has more 7+ rated games than 3DS does on Meta, but no one really wants to hear that.

Bravely Default is kind of peculiar. I like the battle system and characters a lot, but it seems that there are many people who don't. The story is also a really divisive point, as there's a point in the game where it gets veeeery repetitive until it picks up again (I obviously don't want to spoil the details).

I'd say if you like the demo, you'll love the game. The first thing one has to understand is that the demo really only demos gameplay, characters and story aren't represented at all in it. But if you like the battle system, I'm sure you'll like the game. If not, you should probably pass up on it.
