The most frustrating thing about this is after years of people saying they want Type-0 on the west - on PSP (originally); then on Vita; and by the end people were even asking for PS3 HD ports, they decided to make it XB1/PS4. aka the two most expensive consoles currently on the market.

They really are sending the game to die. I'll still buy it if they announce a Vita version before release. but the way they've handled this is absolutely atrocious.

Honestly, I feel they are releasing it in the west to promote Agito for ios.

I feel that the only reason they are releasing it on PS4/Xbone is so they can charge $60 for it. Why release Vita at $40 when $60 is what they feel is its worth. More money same amount of work.

I reckon it will do better (or at least no worse) on PS4 than on Vita. Maybe not so much on X1, but I suspect there's more crossover between PS4/Vita than PS4/X1. So as much as I don't like it, it does make sense from their perspective.

Has it been said exactly how one can report Vita only and the reality is not even on Vita? That's as bad as congratulating a tennis star after tearin his ankle and forfeiting the match thinkin he won.
