Got my brother a borderlands 2 Vita bundle with 8 gig memory card.

I kind of regret it, but for him it's worth it for FFX HD alone.

Seriously, what is coming out for the system other than indies this year? I loves me some indies, but indies don't sell a system.

Japanese games.  And home console ports.

If he's in the market for something other than Japanese games; indies and home console ports, though, you probably shouldn't have invested in a handheld.

he's huge into both Japanese games and indies.  I knew that going into it, but it's all niche.  I just wanted to know what mainstream, AAA titles are coming out for it.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

Well, next month (E3) is last chance saloon for any major US title to be announced (you never know, that Infamous game might magically materialise or something) and GamesCon is last chance for any further major SCEE software. I'm not hopeful tbh.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I've heard that Sony is making money with the Vita the way it is right now. They are not going to try to push sales with Western AAA games or advertizing campaings because it's too risky for them since it's possible that Vita's sales could remain low even with new titles.

So right now Sony will focus all its attention to bring Indie games, localize some Japanese titles, and develop low budget First-Party western games (Big Fest, Murasaki Baby, Bordelands 2, Playstation Vita Pets, GOW HD Collection, etc).

So, I bought Soul Sacrifice Delta yesterday, and I've been playing it for a couple of hours, and so far I like it. At first I was kind of mad due to its price, but once I started playing it, I noticed that for an "expansion" it offers a lot of new content, so much new content that it can be considered even a sequel. I mean even it's story continues right where the last game ended.

Things I've noticed so far:

*Graphical improvement (which I didn't perceived until I played it)

*Some stages are way more detailed

*Some Bosses are more inteligent

*New powers (and now you can combine some of them)

*New Grim based stages, missions, powers, minions and bosses are great!

*Avalon missions are pretty much the same, but there are way more Sanctuary missions. And obviously there are the Grim missions.

*Magusar's main story has some differences than the previous game.

*Now there is like an in-game store where you can buy new clothes, take missions, and make other things, pretty interesting.

That does look great... but... £23.99... for a Digital game... which is 75% a physical game already own >_

If you are not really into the franchise, I don't recomend you to buy it right now, wait a couple of months until it's cheaper. Totally worth it.

I was really enjoying what I played of Soul Sacrifice, but I didn't touch any of the online side waiting for Delta.. I just didn't expect it not to have the existing owners upgrade discount in the West so shelling out full whack for a game I do already own feels rough.

Yeah I think I'll wait for a sale of £14.99 or less.

Cool story, but there is no way I'm paying this much. I've pre-ordered it on PSN and enjoyed quite a bit, but I'm not into double dipping. I'm gonna wait a sale with a massive price-cut.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I don't get the reasoning behind combining the threads. Why after nearly 3 years do the mods (or whoever) feel the need to combine the Vita thread and the PSNation thread? So that they can act like gamrconnect is Neogaf?

I like the fact that the Vita thread is a tight knit group of people who all share at least one thing in common, they love their Vitas. This thread and the COMG! thread are pretty much the only reason I visit this site, with a few exceptions. Dissolving it into the PSNation thread would just mean I would have to shift through all the shit I don't care about just to get my Vita news. I like my PS3 and PS4 as much as the next guy but they already get enough attention from news outlets and other threads that I don't need a mega thread to get info. So the idea of being forced to move to that thread does not sound enticing at all.

Just keep this thread the way it was supposed to be, about Vita and Vita only.

Yeah don't combine it, alot of people in PS nation have no love for the Vita.

Woop, woop! Localization alert: Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds rated in Germany.
