Also, where's all this "Borderlands 2 is a bad port" stuff coming from? The IGN review?

My understanding of it is that it's a very good port (keeps graphics; maintains mostly respectable FPS; all content in tact) that made some necessary sacrifices to run on the hardware it needed to run on. That's not a bad port. It's the same as Criterion did with Need for Speed as Mike pointed out (a game which also struggled to maintain 30 FPS yet seemed to be a lot more generously reviewed).

I think Gio Corsi will be in charge of porting more games. And honestly, I think he chose well with Borderlands (although it was kinda chosen for him thanks to Randy Pitchford). A little ambitious, maybe, but certainly the right type of game and they chose a very competent studio to make the port.

I'm interested to see what else is in the pipeline in any case.

I watched the first half and kinda lost interest. The game after SAO just didn't really cut it for me, though I may be wrong.

Nope, that's fine.  Most people hate the ALO arc.  It wasn't very good.  If you've seen the first half, you'll be fine for playing the game.

You might just want to read who Leafa is since she's one of the characters in this game (and possibly Sinon too, who hasn't even been in the anime yet).

Seems like there was some big old info blowout today.

This looks really interesting. I hope this turns out to be decent. I love business sim games and the whole idea of it being real "talent" that you promote really appeals.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

It has come to my attention that you guys have been looking forward to seeing some Moero Chronicle gameplay. It hasn't been explicitly stated, but I can tell.

I am hear to help you realise your dreams:

Around the 9:15 minute mark to hear the seal talk.

Kirito realises Heathcliff is Akihiko Kayaba and duels him.  Kirito loses the duel but some weird shit happens and he ends up winning, therefore "beating" the game and then there's that lovely scene when Kirito and Asuna are in the clouds talking to him

:The game makes an alternate timeline where the fight "glitches" when Kirito is duelling Heathcliff and the game bugs and deletes him, so the players have to fight the remaining 25 floors to beat the game.  Hollow Fragment adds some new stuff bringing in characters from other MMO's (such as Leafa and Sinon) and they discover a new area and there's some storyline around that.

Thank you for using spoilers, I was a bit afraid to look, as I still haven't gotten around watching it. I'm saving it for a marathon prior to playing the game...

On the one hand, it is a dungeon RPG...

On the other, it's a return to typical Idea Factory shit tier production values and presentation. Nauseating.

At least the seal rocks.

Thanks, sounds way better than the arc after that. Can't wait to play it.

They've come a long way from where they were at the start of the PS3 generation, though.  Stuff like Omega Quintet and even the Neptunia games seem to have much better production values relative to where they used to be.

Can't blame them too much for something like this I guess.  I have a feeling Monpiece made them a fair bit of money also being of low production values but selling well beyond expectations in Japan.
