Really low resolution textures and low poly models.

Demon Gaze looks much better from the shots above.

Btw Kres, there is a demo on the EU store for VLR if you want to check it out.

Hmm, maybe.  I'll willing to pick up VLR at some point regardless though.  It's a VN by the company that made Dangan Ronpa.  Sounds good enough to me!

Busy playing the Conception 2 demo at the moment & I just ordered Sly Collection which should get here during the week :)

Yeah it's a great game. It's just a shame the visuals are so ugly in places. Obviously not a deal breaker at all for games like that mind.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Buddy bump.

I'm going to start Demon Gaze soon, I'm now in Chapter 3 on dangan ronpa.

I feel like Vita isn't really region free, at least not completely - it's because of the DLC. If they were working with every version of a game, it would be sweet. The way it is now, I'm only importing the games that have no DLC and I'm just ignoring games that are retail in NA, but have DLC and are digital only in Europe.

Do you buy DLC for every single game you buy, though?

I mean, I just play it by ear.  If I wanted Raganrok Odyssey, I'd have no problem importing that because the DLC is just cosmetic stuff that I don't have any real interest in.

Whereas for something like Muramasa, the DLC is supposed to be incredible and adds a lot of new gameplay, so I'm likely not to import that and instead buy a digital copy.

Varies from game to game.  Conception 2 I'm leaning towards getting digitally as there is Monokuma DLC; whereas Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth I'm leaning towards importing because I think the DLC is just a couple of new characters and a boosted level cap and I don't care too much about that.

I have all DLC for all retail games I bought (can't say that's a whole lot, but still) and DLC to many games I got digitally or through PS+. Though I'm not gonna lie, the most important DLC are those that give me new trophies. A DLC with trophies is a complete dealbreaker for me when it come to importing.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Hm, fair enough.  Guess we're just different!

For me to buy DLC it would have to be something really, really worth it and in most cases that rarely happens.  Think like only 3 of my games on Vita were something I actually thought would be worthwhile getting the DLC for (PSABR; Ridge Racer; Gravity Rush).

And just those three games on Vita are what I have bougth DLC, I think i'll buy for Muramasa too...  I don't see my self buying a DLC just for trophies, now that I think.. I bougth KZ Botzone too, and thecnically to get the online trophies I can't because my crappy internet don't let me play online well...XD

Oh yeah, the DLC stuff. While I'm not tooo big on DLC, there's been some stuff I've enjoyed in the past (e.g. Fire Emblem Awakening, though I love everything Fire Emblem regardless of what it is, so...) and I absolutely hate to miss out on stuff like that. Though a retail copy will always be worth more to me. I'd rather buy the game twice and get the DLC for my second copy than not having a physical one.

But, you know, that's why my favourite handhelds to this day are the GBA/DS (OG and lite only), since those are truly region free. Regardless of what game I buy and from what region it is, I'll just pop it in and it works like a charm. And since there's no DLC or digital distribution or anything... Well, you know.
It's all the more bitter to see Nintendo as the only company left pulling through with region lock, and I applaud Sony for almost completely abandoning it (and Microsoft, too, after the Nightmare that was the 360 when it comes to importing. You have to keep a list of what works and what doesn't and it's really annoying).

Considering all that, I can cope with not being able to use DLC. It's annoying, yeah, because the stuff is basically right in front of you and you just can't grab it, as if it was teasing you, but one can't have everything, I suppose.

I kinda see buying DLC as a form of support on our struggling console. I hate them in general, but make an exception for Vita. I want more games like Killzone, so I've bought the game day 1 and bought both DLC, so that they see that there is of a market for such games. I've bought DLC for Gravity Rush, Thomas Was Alone, etc.

Ok I dont know how this still isnt a thing but the only reason for it now, so long after its release would be a localisation honestly.

Does this link work for anyone?

Supposedly screenshots of the Asian version of SAO showing the extent of the English translation.

Link isn't working for me, but it was working for a few people on GAF (who aren't bothering to screenshot it). If it does work, could you upload a few of the screenshots please?
