Invizimals came out in the UK (and I think Northern Europe?) in March.

Looks like that list is summing up most of the games now, I was kind of wondering what the 2014 releases for Vita are.

As for no games, it's a combination of ignorance, and that fact that they aren't in shops. So if someone is just casually goes into a store to glance at what there is to play, I know in my local shops, you've got your usual suspects of FIFA and a few Sony 1st party titles like Soul Sacrifice, Uncharted and the more recent stuff like Sly/Invizimals.

Then there seems to be Virtua Tennis (just how many physical copies of this did SEGA produce!?), the LEGO games and a few pre owned titles.

Final Fantasy X/X-2, Danganronpa, Sorcery Saga, Dynasty Warriors 8 etc nowhere to be seen. The thing is, it's similar if you go into places like CEX, so owners seem to be holding onto to their games more and stores are ordering a few copies and once they're sold, that's it. You have to go online after that for stuff, but most people don't know about the wealth of games available that are no longer on the radar.

I am not ignorant of Vita releases.  I would still say it has no games.  That's a huge list but most of those games have no appeal to me whatsoever.  Some people are simply not willing to continue to ignore HUGE gaps in the availability of appealing software.

Vita is great if you 4 kinds of games. 1)niche Japanese RPGS, 2)Monster Hunter clones, 3)Anime and visual novel stuff, 4) Ports from PS3 that didn't do terribly well in the first place(outside of Japan). In that case sure there are plenty of gamez. If you want non anime high quality 3d action titles there is practically nothing.  PS3 got 30 last year alone.  Vita got 7 and 3 or 4 of those were also on PS3.

Even when you start to mention digital plenty of people already have a PC with steam where I can get indies cheaper. I also owned a PSP and a PS1 already. What is there for me really?

Pick one or the other; but it can't be both.  Either it has games, or it doesn't have games.

Is a FACT that Vita have Games.. but aren't to much appealing to wider western consumers... for people that like japanese releases Vita have been a heaven until now.. and seems like is gonna get better..

BTW guys did You notice that this time all the news weren't announced after @M.U.G.E.N trow a tantrum like most of the times? XD

The vita has games, it's just in another dimension and kept away from us mortals. Hence it doesn't have games xD

Always looking to improve my awful drawings ;_;

That would be an ignorant statement. "It has no games that interest me" is completely different to "it has no games". However if you can't find a single game on Vita that appeals to your taste, you must have extremely specialist tastes.

Your 4 kinds of games all seem to come down to "Japanese" too. Which again, pretty ignorant. It might not be overflowing with them. But Vita has a very well rounded lineup, there is a decent example of pretty much every genre now on Vita. Some are far better represented than others but the Vita does have something in those categories that is worth playing even First Person Shooter and Third Person Shooters. Racing games and Sports games are also covered pretty well.

What you seem to be after is "high budget title" but budget doesn't have any baring on quality, if Killzone Merc etc aren't high enough budget for you to make them worthwhile, I would say handheld platforms aren't appropriate for your gaming tastes.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

People keep trying to compare Vita with it's Home Console counterparts but it is a HANDHELD. The fact that some of its games are also on PS3/4 means little because you can't play those without impunity anywhere like on Vita. If you think you will enjoy it more on PS3/4, get it on that but you could also choose to have the freedom of portability.

Also Vita is the last console that can be criticized about variety. Killzone Mercs, Borderlands 2, MLB 14:The Show, MGS Collection, Sly Collection, Jak Collection, God of War Collections, AC: Liberations, LBP Vita, Unit 13, PSASBR, Super Stardust Delta, Tearaway are western themed games. They aren't Japanese style at all. How many games in that vein does 3DS have? two(MGS 3D, Resident Evil Revelations)? All of it's most reveled games are Japanese at their core(Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Yoshi, Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, Smash Bros, Mario Kart).

So Sony alone is ushering in handheld games designed by a Western Market. For every other front Sony has created equal opposition to what 3DS offers.
Zelda = Y's:Memories of Celceta
SMT4 = Persona 4 Golden
Monster Hunter = Soul Sacrifice, Freedom Wars, Ragnarok Odyssey
Prof Layton/Ace Attorney= Dangan Ronpa, Jacob Jones
Kid Icarus = Gravity Rush
Mario Kart = Modnation, Wipeout
Fire Emblem = FFX/X-2 HD
3D Function(many don't like it's use) = Back Touch (not really used)
