I've seen some complaints when EU, for example, gets a digital only release while US gets physical release. I'm talking about worldwide (more like West-wide), or region specific digital releases though. Would you like it if a game like say, Legend of Heroes, or God Eater, were to be released digitally only? Do you prefer physical? And would that opinion change if digital were the only viable option from a business standpoint due to costs of logistics for physical products? Would you accept something like that? By the way, I'm not confirming or denying any specific games being localized, the games I mentioned were just an example. I'm NOT hinting at anything. I buy mostly digital, so it wouldn't effect me, but it is always nice to have a physical option available for those who don't have access to good internet or whatever. The good thing about digital is that there is no packaging fee, so if more games were localized from Japan and made digital only for budget reason, i would be completely fine with it.

I like collecting games and having a physical library. I live in Hong Kong and we get games from every region.
However, if its psp games or a budget title then im fine with them having digital only option.
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

I remember having a convo about this back when EDF for Vita released. My input. A few games I'll still get some I won't. I hate Digital only releases for Full games, unnecessary Memory usage. My biggest issue though is this. I hate when they release a game full price as digital only games here are about $30-$40 for Vita. I ate seeing Digital only releases at $40. I'll buy a Digital game at $40 in some cases. But I look a it like this. The developer wants to be cheap and make a bigger profit per sale. So if you wanna scre people over who want Physical, the least you can do is atleast make your game $30 or lower. Great example, Miku was good, they didn't release it at full price, but New Little Kings Story was dumb for selling full price in NA as Digital only when EU had physical. Ohh that's another key thing. I can understand in some cases where Japan only gets a physical release and everyone else gets DD. But if it's only EU or only NA that gets DD, then I get annoyed. I wanted DBZ on Vita but because they were jackasses and didn't release physical in NA but they did in EU, I said hell no, especially at full price and no pre-order DLC on Vita ONLY in NA lol

In my opinion it doesn't matter if a game is digital-only since when I complete it I'll never have the urge to touch it again, however it'd be nice to keep a physical copy. if digital only were the only viable option due to costs then I'd be perfectly fine with it, A digital only > no game. The way I see it is like PC games since they're only digital but the biggest problem when comparing these two is price.
Squeezol's Fanclub Member? is that how it works?

I don't mind digital versions of games. I prefer physical for memory card reasons, but I have no qualms about buying digital games. I can understand and fully support publishers who feel digital-only is their only hope for profitability.
I have had some time with my vita so figured able to offer my impressions here now.
This system is truly remarkable, after spending time with it I definitely do not regret my purchase and would easily recommend it for others interested in a handheld. I should note this experience is with a 32gb card and a PS+ membership.
Being on the go allows me to hop on my work wifi and download demos and games, and at a speed that really surprised me with Uncharted taking ~15 minutes to download and install. Much faster than PS3 days of similar game taking hours at a house.
So, a bright screen, great graphics, all sorts of add ons and fast download speeds so the battery should suck, right? Nope. I have been amazed at how long this last, especially when it goes into stand by mode. No issue leaving it overnight forgetting to charge and then picking it up finding it dead. This is huge in a handheld and may be the best battery I have ever experienced.
Obviously am in the honey moon phase, but right now the PS Vita is a stellar system that has offered my several fun and original gaming experiences. Gravity Rush is even better than my lofty expectations, and has rapidly become a game I adore and want more of.
Thanks for all the help in the thread, very happy to be part of the club.

Did we watch the same video? I thought that Youtube clip looked extremely solid. Not spectacular, but good enough.
