Persona 3 P I'd say get if you can handle playing Persona mainly for the story since you only get actual player control in the special hour (can't remember the name). Ys: Memories of Celceta isn't a typical RPG, it's kinda like the perfect mix between action and RPG. Gameplay type is more on the critical side. If you're playing it, it's important to learn Flash moves, and know your enemies. I'd say try get Ys: SEVEN first if you can, (don't judge it on the horrible first 2 hours) but when you can play freely, try out the field stuff, Celceta's system is pretty similar, just slightly upgraded. I love Celceta though, one of my favourite RPG's hands down

If you liked Persona 4, you'll like Persona 3. Though I have to say that, to me, Persona 4 will always be better in terms of story, characters and setting. I'd say go for it.
Though due to the limitations of the PSP P3P is a bit more barebones than P4 Golden or P4 and P3 in their original incarnations. There are no animated cutscenes (as far as I am aware) and you won't actually walk around town, you just move a cursor around backgrounds pointing at the stuff to interact with. It's quite a different experience thanks to that, with 3D gameplay only being in action when you explore the dungeon (which works almost exactly like it does in P4). The battle system is also practically the same as well. You'll feel right at home.
So yeah, it's a bit different gameplay wise, but it still has that typical Persona feel to it. I think you'll enjoy it, and since it isn't really expensive anymore, you probably can't go wrong buying the game.
Can't say anything about Ys sadly, since I have yet to play that game.

P3 is great. It's not as good as P4, but that's one of the best JRPGs ever. P3P is my favorite version of the game, I never cared for the extra content in FES.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
