Dead or Alive 5 is fun.  But not as fun as Dead or Alive 2.  And the 'story' annoyed me quite a lot because I felt like you had to have knowledge of the previous 2 games.

I'm biased since I favor 3d fighters more..But DOA+ was fantastic. Looked amazing, played like a dream and lot of content too.

Yeah can't go wrong with either. Depends whether you want 3D arena or 2D. Both look gorgeous, play fantastic and have lots of content.

Both games are a shot to the ground, i personally prefer Blazblue, and exactly the Extend edition on vita is a great one to get into the serie.. have a resume of the story of the first chapter and the extended story of Continum Shift, If you do't mind the isual novel type of Story mode with lots of text and voiced dialogs, alternative endings and routes, you will have HOURS to enjoy alone, and the online is still alive despite not having crossplay with PS3 users... plus the great online netcode You play almost lagless...

The Third Chapter was announced recently for Vita, release in macrh in japan, i hope that for summer is here, butanyway buy this one if is in offer better!!

 

And About DOA5+, is a great 3D fighting game, tons of modes, gameplay, characters, great graphics and above all: BOOBS.. :)

Barely on topic, but someone posted this on GAF and it made me smile (in response to people port begging for there to be a PS3 version of Toukiden because Vita has a low install base):

Nice move from SCEJ with freedom Wars Demo... that Would meant that the game is set to release sooner than expected.. Q3 in japan probably... I hope is a worldrelease, because the game seems to use some kind of GPS features... I wonder when SONY will explote Near potential with this... -.-

Well, you're right. It would push hardware sales, but It would give another reason to developers to just ignore the system. 

But, at least that would be a better campaing than just completely ignore the console in both hardware and software.
