What's interesting though in that article is this :

"Additionally, Falcom announced it has signed with Sony Computer Entertainment Asia to localize the first game, The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki, into traditional Chinese and Korean in summer 2014. In addition, the Asian localized version of Sen no Kiseki II will be released at the same time as the Japanese language version."

I wonder if that mean the Kiseki series will make it to the west. I hope it does since Sen is a great game and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Maybe we'll find out in jan 30.

Also, is it me or is Sony focusing more on Asia recently for the vita. Freedom wars, Over my dead body 2 releases and now the Kiseki series deal. Phantasy star online was also released there if I'm not mistaken. Hmm...

I can understand chinese with a little struggle, but i really hope it comes over in english. I'm so buying both trails in the sky FC and SC when they come out. Also, quite a lot of games are localized with chinese subtitles really quick in asia before the west. Some of them are toukiden, ragnarok odyssey, akiba'strip....

Anyways, this goes to show how incompetent scea is when compared to sce asia. Are they getting cold feet from the xbox one threat? Now i wish that my first language is chinese, but no, english is still my vastly preferred language.

I'd say all it means is that SCEJA is now more interested in bringing their games to other Asian countries since their domain was expanded beyond just Japan.

I guess the main driving force is the "legalising" of consoles in China and Sony is just showing the typical reaction of a company which got the chance to enter a new 1.3 billion people using this chance and testing how much potential/demand this market has.

Just a very tiny 0.3% of this market is 4million people and most chinese people may not afford a new full prize game,but they can afford ps+ for 4 dollars(in remnibi)which is cheaper than paying 5 or 6 times in an internetcafé.
