I'd say all it means is that SCEJA is now more interested in bringing their games to other Asian countries since their domain was expanded beyond just Japan.


I guess the main driving force is the "legalising" of consoles in China and Sony is just showing the typical reaction of a company which got the chance to enter a new 1.3 billion people using this chance and testing how much potential/demand this market has.

Just a very tiny 0.3% of this market is 4million people and most chinese people may not afford a new full prize game,but they can afford ps+ for 4 dollars(in remnibi)which is cheaper than paying 5 or 6 times in an internetcafé.
