Forums - Sony - Official Playstation Vita Thread! The Last Stand - Ys VIII, Mary Skelter, Yomawari Midnight Shadows, Persona 3&5 Dancing, Atelier Lidy & Soeur, DanganRonpa V3, Demon Gaze II & MORE!
Why are those developers so dumb and always try to use the back touchpad instead of the front touchscreen.
I'm just playing jak3 and this game would have been 10x more comfortable if they used the touchscreen to replace r/l 2/3.
I hope some sony/square guys will read this and use their brain.
this, back touchpad is ass. R2/L2 should be top half of the screen and bottom half R3/L3. Also no need for deadspace on them either, use the whole thing. It would be so much more comfortable
I´m actually playing Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver in the vita right now (looks superb with bilinear filtering) and mapped L2 and R2 to the back touchpad...
...and for the life of me, I can´t seem to get ot to work. Is my touchpad busted ? :-/

If the event is indeed about PS Vita 2000 and/or TV, I would say the chances are pretty high. Heck, they could even drop a little more the prices of those smaller MC.
Ok, I need to stop getting hyped lol. Like MikeRox said, it could even be a new PS3 version LMAO.
Naughty Dogs new project is a Vita game being worked on by a smaller team, will be shown at new event
Or, or maybe Naughty Dog should make a smaller team to make a Vita game. Seriously SCEA are so afraid of XBO they let Vita die to just make sure PS4 was packing as much punch as it could.
Over my dead Body 2 game play from Taippei Game show. If you only want to see the game play skip to about 12 minutes since the first couple of minutes are character creation etc...
The game still looks rough in movement. I dunno if the camera is stuttering or if the player isn't using it properly. Still I really like the combat phase and it looks pretty so i want it.
I dont know if its the video, but damn does the game lags alot also they need to improve the camera and just keep it stead i think if they followed god of war camera work instead if it following the character it would be better. They also need to add some keep of animation when we start a fight with the enemie like in pokemon or persona 4 and i hope there will be more battle music in game since it sounds kind of silly and will get really annoying soon.
Thats my only negative :p hope they fix a lot of the issues before release other then that im hyped :3
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

ND never made a handheld and all of thier ip's were outsoured like Sony Santa Monica. I am all for devs getting creative freedom like Sony Bends and Ready at Dawn for choosing the platflorm for games they want to develope thats why i think SCEA so offer some of its devs some kind of initative to them for developing games for te vita. But fk it since just like with the psp Sony would prefer to win the battle with its home console rather then the battle for the handhelds.

5 Million Apple TVs were sold in 2012... not bad for a "hobby" project.

Have you played any Ys game before? If you did, you know what to expect.
If you didnt, then i would say its a story of the level of Zelda games. Its there to drive you, but the meat is on the fun gameplay.

Not sure how many people here play FFXIV:ARR, but remote play footage has come out. Yoshi-P had mentioned before that he wasn't sure how he would map the controls so that they are intuitive on the VIta and after watching them show nothing more than him walking about and not battling, I'm concerned it will control horribly. He talks about how they are using the rear touch panel, but I'm not sure that'll be sufficient. Also, the text might be impossibly small on that screen, but not sure, the stream res wasn't high enough so it might actually be fine. Either way, it looks really nice on the PS4 and the idea of being able to play it in some way, shape, or form on Vita is pretty damn cool. I'm going to try it out someday.
I'm happy enough aslong as its enough to do the crafting and harvest mats while in bed. I am expecting them to use the touch screen for skill use though.
The tougher gameplay will always be better on the PC, as far as im concerned.

I must be the only person who wants a Vita TV. But the main thing I want it for, is so that I don't have to move the PS4 up and downstairs between TVs.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I will connect my PS3 to my second TV (and dump the old dvd-player) when my PS4 arrives, I don't need PS4 access on every TV in the house.
So PS4 games and blu-ray movies in the living room via big TV or projector and PS1, PS2 and PS3 games in the other room with the smaller TV (plus an upgrade from DVD to Blu-ray plus a wifi-media-center). Additionally I have access to the PS4 via remote play on the vita in every room in the house.
And it would be great if Sony further enhances the connectivity between Playstation devices in the same WiFi: streaming between PS3 and PS4 in both directions and reverse remoteplay between PS4 and Vita.
