They've not given any news about the Vita release date in the west yet other than a vague "stay tuned".

h they are DEFINITELY making bank on it...especially thanks to those memory cards. Creamsugar gave some figures for mem card sales over at gaf and they were big. I'm certain sony is making some big bucks off of vitas now..and famousmortimer said in the NA around 60% of game sales on vita are digital |
60% of games sold on digital! Well that certainly is a number. No wonder we don't see any Vita blipping on Vgchartz and yeah, they better make money on those overpriced cards XD

FFX and FFX-2 are two separate games on the Vita right? Unlike the single Blu Ray disc on the PS3.

Just noticed a couple of Sorcery Saga reviews going up today. To my surprise it's... actually reviewing quite well. Might end up being Compile Heart's highest rated game ever, lol:

Yes. They're selling it as a dual pack in Japan though, but it's still two separate carts.
We don't even know if we're getting a physical release in the west yet, though.
It's always interesting to see how some Japanese games are received in the West.
Games like Xenoblade and Ninokuni were not even notable in Japan, yet are hailed as the Second Coming of the JRPG by Westerners it seems.
I guess the death of Square Enix as a significant JRPG exporter over the last generation has contributed to a bit of starvation.

Well, like Kresnik said, SE didn't actually give info about the vita release date. Quite a number of people asked about it in the playstation blog post and they only thing we got was that the vita version is releasing, but they(SE USA) don't have any details on date/price/release type.
To be honest, I think it might not release at the same date as the ps3 version in the west.

It's a pleasant surprise to me as well.

Bravely default is nothing like FFX. Its more akin to FF1, FF3 and FF5. Its a game with more depth on the combat system but also alot more grindy. The story is also not on the same level as a FFX.
My choice would be FFX (and X-2), if you havent played them yet. Bravely default otherwise, if you dont mind the grinding. With that said, the combat system of X-2 is quite deep aswell.
