I think a lot of hackers aren't wasting their time with handheld gaming. They know that these machines will be patched over and the lackluster security of the 7th gen will not likely to happen again.

I downloaded it last night and looked it up. Its apprantly only a performance update for 3.0. Though some people speculate that its countermeasures for this Vita hack called TN-V4 i believe. Its basically promising to pirate the Vita. If it suceeds it could be both good and bad though. I think i'd rather it didnt for now.

Though when i think of the potencial with emulators i get quite excited (PS1,PSP,PS2,GC,Xbox,DS,DC,3DS,etc). Imagine having all that on the Vita. Its something i wouldnt mind seeing at the end of the Vita's life.

You have to buy from the store legally a PSP game wololo says, a game  (Sony was happy because some nice money was earned with this, so they simply make weak efforts to stop this because it is not a threat, NOT POSSIBILE TO PIRATE PS VITA GAME, not now and probably will NEVER HAPPEN) and modding its savefile you can unlock (use an exploit) and run things (emulators mostly) with the PSP EMULATOR ON THE VITA, for that....just GET A PSP AND MOD IT! emulator for GBA that runs under another emulator doesn' look cool for me, only inception-like.

LOL that I always give clarifications about cfw on some consoles, don't hate on me, my vita is all original XD


Everything can be hacked, PSN, Xbox live, the US government, anything. PS3, it started as a way to play emulators and boom, right after that was figured out, others figured how to pirate the games. I'd say it's safer if they don't bother releasing these things.

Got Ys: Memories of Celceta for an early christmas present! Can't wait to play it, but gonna finish Rayman Legends first; got that at launch and never completed it.

Also, Anything coming out digitally on Vita between now and christmas? I kinda wanna buy Trine 2: The complete story on PS4, but the combination of worry over potentially missing a deal in the next couple weeks and the fact that I already have Trine 1 and 2 on steam has me hesitating (I prefer console and handheld gaming to PC gaming).

Any input, guys?

Supposbly, Broken Sword 5 Episode one should be coming to the vita in the coming weeks. No confirmed date though. Eufloria HD, Doki-Doki Universe, Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God,  and Terraria are also coming out  this month.

I'm only looking forward to Broken Sword, so I don't how good the other games are ^^

Edit: Oh, and Rainbow Moon vita is releasing this month.

with this they can pirate PSP games, also about the PS3, the universal hack (modchip) came out only MONTHS ago (in 2013 chip for a 2006 console, not a big deal for sony I guess), very little piracy for PS3 compared to current and older gen machines. (CFW is not like the psp ones (can update to CFW from ANY OFW, on PS3 you can't mod the console if you have a firmware over 3.55, it's just that hackers found out a key to make the firmware look legit in the update, of course any OFW>3.55 has that key blacklisted, very very little consoles have/can have this.)

I still think hackers dont' know how the Vita firmware works at all (stuck in user mode).

Welcome back...

Basically, Vita has no gaemz which is why it's not selling and is doomed. But everyone in this thread has too many games to keep up with :D

Oh it's also overpriced at £60 cheaper than a 3DS XL.

So yeah.... not a right lot has changed! If you want to get caught up on the no gaemz for the system from 2013 and coming in 2014 there was an excellent thread here cataloging the releases:

Haven't played in a while but been picking it up again recently do love the little bugger, fell in love with the Tearaway demo just a shame Christmas/Partner's bday is around the corner so no time to pick up the non existant games...

Hmmm where to start.... 

for the last coupple of pages the main theme is Tearaway = Amazing/ GotY... and it really is amazing so go get it
the few hundered pages before that is Killzone Merc is fucking beautifull
Then there is a huge dicussion about how bad japanese games and anime style anything is stupid (it's mainly sleepyprince against everyone else)
somewhere in there is also buuuuhuuuhuuu 3ds gets psersona q while we get persona dance all night and i wanted p5 to be vita and not ps3 anyway
Sprinkled in betwen all of this is people realizing how awesome Ys is
Lots of japanese games are beeing localised and lots of indies comming
also guacameele is awesome

i think thats about it... or probably not but that's as far back as i can remember.
