Hi Everyone. Amongst all the excitement for the launch of PS4 and, of course, Killzone Shadowfall, here at Guerrilla Cambridge we’ve still been busily working away on Killzone Mercenary. We’re now very pleased to announce that there will be a number of updates coming over the next few months.

First up is Update 3. In terms of functionality there will only be minimal changes, but this is the patch that reduces the size of the other patches! After installing this patch it will free up around 800MB of space for those who have already installed Updates 1 & 2. Update 3 should be ready in the next few weeks.

Update 4 is due in January and is being designed to improve Matching and to help reduce join-game connectivity problems, as well as adding an auto team-rebalancing feature.

Following that is the big one: Update 5. Two new multiplayer maps for FREE, and the release of offline Botzone for Mercenary and Guerrilla Warfare modes.

Also in the first few months of 2014 will be Update 6, in which we’re working towards continued refinements and adding support for playing Killzone Mercenary on Vita TV.

took me awhile to get my PSN back, I used my Bro's year and my bday so I was 18 when first registering. You will probs have to call customer service or something

I guess that is my only option if I can't guess the correct date. Hopefully there won't be much of a problem because I am not an American and they may not help calls from out of US.

What a cool blog post.

I'm still trying to find Killzone Merc for £20. It was that price at launch and I didn't get it because I was still up in the air about that stupid parking ticket and now it's £30 everywhere. Ugh.

Just gonna suck it up if it's still that price by Christmas. I need a good online game for Vita; WipEout just isn't cutting it anymore (maybe I should try NFS online, too).

Since the same law applies to whole EU, I can tell you my latest "story". lol I usually import things that are not much over 22€ mark and I use the cheapest shipping option because the shipping fee is added up to value of package when taxed. Anyway for probably 20-30 games from either play-asia/ videogamesplus, I never had any issues with customs. 2 weeks ago a freind from Asia sent me a "belated" B-day present (game from play-asia) and to make things more convenient (from his perspective) he opted for FedEx shipping which was 37$. So game was 29,99 (few cent above 22€ mark), and shipping was 37 so that  together was 67$, which was again over 45€ mark. The parcel was delayed by customs and for me to get it, would have costed me around 50€, because of the import fees, taxes and some additional nonsense. What I'm trying to say is, go for cheap shipping. You'll wait a bit longer, but you'll save money on both shipping and import duties since shipping in most cases alone will be over 22€ mark.

Oh awesome news! I'm going to buy this game by january or a little later (physical copy). Perhaps a complete edition incoming with all the updates? I've to save some precious space on my MC lol.
