woah champ stop jumping to conclusions there..I'm not saying it's an EO clone cuz it's chibi..I'm saying it's a EO clone because it's already deduced that it's the EO team, EO engine and EO gameplay...this was discussed in detail over at gaf already. And also I'm guessing you are a persona fan since you are worked up about it..I'm not. My view on this is from a third party who is not a fan of the IP. I look at this from a business point of view. Not the 3ds game or this dance title are gonna set the world on fire sales wise..both will do ok sales wise. Both will have their fans. 

Now since you dropped the fanboy card cuz you are butthurt over something so trivial I'm guessing logic won't work on you. But I never said this will reach the sales of miku games..I doubt the publisher expects it to either. But this is not a new IP or an IP without a following. This is Persona. I'm not worried about the sales for this game. 

Vita already got a Persona RPG...doesn't mean it won't get more in the future either. If you are so bloody craving that 3ds game go buy a 3ds and play it. This is not a game that makes much of an impact for either the 3ds or the vita. 

So shake your head all you want but the only fanboy here is you. Getting worked up about a two spin offs...one by the miku team and one by the EO team is beyond laughable. That's like whining about Disgaea games going multi or something. So spare me the drama. I will call out sony, or third parties when it's called for. On the Persona Announcements.. I'm dissapointed, I was hoping for a PS3/PSVita release, specially whem PS3 is almost dead on the Japanese market.. if it would have been PS4 exclusive I would have understood, but not PS3 only... hopefully Vita fan base will complaint loud and this will be corrected.. If Rayman Legend ended releasing on vita when was two weeks from releasin on Wiiu exclusivelly... that can happen...

the Dance game is a good thing, but not my thing... so let's wait for better news...

on TEARWAY snapshots and customization.. damn that GUNDAM was AWESOME! Sony should add it to the Pv in Japan.. it will sell a lot! now I want it to try making a Kat-Atoi XD

From a buisness point of view they could make something WAY more profitable for around what it will take to make that game. Also your reasoning in a nutshell. "I assume other games will come to Vita EVENTUALLY, so no reason to complain." I can assume it will not make it. But that doesn't matter really, I don't care if I get PQ, P5 etc. Hell to be honest, I'm going to buy P4D if it comes to NA just cause it's supporting a great series. You seem to forget Persona is a SMT spin off series. So Persona 1-5 would be in the same situation lol. Doesn't matter who develops it. Once a trademark is used. It matters. If it didn't. I was going to post this morning when I saw the announcements how I was pretty disappointed but I decided to let it sink in while I was at work. I'm glad I did too since now it seems like it was the best case scenario, for me at least. Persona 5 on PS3 was a given, people who even thought for half a second that it was going to be on PS4 were fools. Also it being on Vita as well at launch was wishful thinking by many (including me). Now at least we can expect Persona 5 Golden in the future since they are bound to make a portable version like prior releases. 

Now for the 3DS announcement I was really erked by it. I mean an RPG with both Persona 3 and 4 characters would be awesome but it would feel like a complete step back for the series. The Persona series hasn't been known for its graphics but going from the PSVita to 3DS would be a real let down and would feel like wasted potential. But now that I know a little more about the game it seems like it was meant to be just nothing more than a cool "little" game made for fanservice which i'm perfectly fine with. It will most likely justify my 3DS purchase more than Pokemon actually and give me a reason to... you know, play it lol. I will say though, I hate first person dungeon crawling and that moe(?) art style but i'll manage. At least the battles are in third person otherwise it'd hate it.

Finally the Vita announcement had me laughing from the minute I saw the trailer. I've always felt that the music in Persona game were the best part so a dancing/rythm game based off of it makes sense. But just thinking of all the Persona 4 characters dancing just makes me laugh. I'm excited for it (if it comes to the US) and besides I don't have a rythm game in my Vita collection so it will be a first for me. Also you have to remember that Persona is a Japanese series so of course they're going to cater to the demographic. I do wish they would bring the Persona 4 Arena games to Vita but oh well.

All in all I'm very excited for all 3 (well 4 including P4A-2) games and can't wait for them to come out which hopefully will be close to their Japanese release dates !!

Let me break this down for you as simple as I can so even you might understand it

P4G was a project that was in the making before the vita was even out. The poor hardware followed afterwards but thankfully the software sales for the game wasn't affected. So no..it really does make sense. You just need to use a little thing called 'context'

You are basing this 'it would be more profitable to do something else' based on nothing. I make my claim based on the fact that both spin off games are done by smaller sets of dev teams that have the engines already in place. EO engine for the 3ds and Hatsune Miku engine for the vita game. It's not rocket science. They are making cheap spin off games so they can milk the Persona 4 IP as much as they can before Persona 5 drops in the winter that follows. it's smart business and Atlus/Sega knows it.

You just accused me of calling the 3ds game a EO clone because it has chibi. Stop running around throwing rubbish claims around and following up with one random claim after the other. I just told you why it's a EO clone. it's the EO engine, EO team, EO mechanics. Will it have it's own unique gameplay mechanics? Sure it might. But it doesn't make it any less of a clone. Same simple logic applies to the dance game. This is not a Monhun vs Soul Sacrifice like scenario. Again, not rocket science. If you want EO like game you should already have a 3ds...cuz you know..that's the bloody system the IP has been on so far this gen. if you enjoy such gameplay then good news for ya...there's a persona Spin off just like it coming up! And again vita already had a persona game. One spin off shouldn't make anyone rage. I can see why someone might be disappointed ..but rage? nah.

I'm not trying to put the vita over 3ds in this situation either so I have no idea what you're blabbering about here. At which point was  idefensive? What am I supposed to be defensive about?
