Ys Seven's final boss. Holy shit. I literally went through the whole game thinking "this is nowhere near as difficult as Oath in Felghana" and then they whack in a last boss which is literally miles more difficult than anything in that game.

I've spent the whole day trying and have yet to get past the first phase. Won't get finished in time for Memories of Celceta at this rate! :P

Fill your backpack the most powerful healing and recovering potions. The most powerful healing item has got a rare ingredient, but it's well worth seeking.

Did you grind all the ultimate weapons for each of the characters?  I got the one for Aisha but ran out of materials for all the others.

By the way, if anyone in the UK sees Killzone Mercenary for £20 any time between now and Christmas, give me a shout. Thanks!

Its alright because celceta is Ys 4 afterall. It takes place just after Oath in felghana, so you're good to go. ;)

Watching this made me realise how bad I am at this game... I was struggling at the first phase of this on normal.

Given up for the night now. Too much to do. Might try and grind some weapons tomorrow.

Made me realise more than ever though... Falcom make some amazing boss fights at times.

Ys has some fantastic boss fights!

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Ys is the defining series for the action RPG genre. Falcom's been doing this since the 80's, you could say they established the genre as it is.

Also Celceta actually takes place before Felghana. Ys 3 and 4 are reversed chronologically. The Felghana theme is even placed at the end of the Celceta ending credits theme. Awesome continuity on the part of Falcom there!

No, for the weapons I didn't push, I basically accepted what I found. I grinded only for the curative/recovery stuff.

I also remember that I used one Adol special attack as much as possibile, don't remember which one, though...
