Hopefully with the continued support of Sony the Vita doesnt go through the same fate. SEGA's problem was always they gave up too fast.


I actually currently view the Vita as the portable equivalent of the Dreamcast, going head to head with the PS1 (now 3DS). There are so many similarities (including Jet Set Radio!!!)

However, SEGA had no choice but to give up on the Dreamcast. The 32X and Saturn blew out all Sega's money. Sony have the resources to keep fighting on at least so long as they don't give up on the system. I'm still constantly seeing new Vita owners all seemingly perfectly happy/pleasantly surprised with their purchase.

It's funny seeing the threads where it's "I got a cheap Vita, but I'm worried by the lack of games... what do you recommend?" to get flooded with 30+ game recommendations.

where are you looking?  i've noticed that for some games (like escape plan) if i look at the game's page in the store it would appear that i have not purchased the game even though i have.  ..it will even let me buy it again.  but if i go to the "download list" the game is still there and downloadable.

 

also, welcome back me.  it's been 3000 posts.  >.<

The game do have it's share of flaws, but omg it is one brilliant game. Very hyped for the sequel, they can pull a masterpiece imo.

Yeah I had to stop playing Gravity Rush about 3 hours in, I liked the game but the Combat made me want to throw my Vita at the wall....I thought it was in mine and my Vitas best interest to stop playing the game ^^

and @KingofTroll: yeah! Remote play will work great on PS4, but always will be a option to PS4/psvita owners, is not gonna make the console fly of the shleves like crazy! will be just a feature more nothing else.. and the best part of Remote play for me is that I can do it via internet! So i don't have to be on my house.. I can play trough any wifi conection far away... I suppouse this is where the NetCode of gaikai enters to preserve the experience as lagless possible.. the thing will be like having Your own Streaming game server at house... sounds sweet rigth?

 

anyway, the thing most of here demands is a more agressive promotion of vita's key features and more NO-GAEMZ!... specially in Europe where PS brand allways havebeen strong! Stronger than anywhere else... and that is a fact with all playStation consoles... anyway at least japan in TGS have ensure usa lot of games to lok forward for next two year (translations take times -,-)

I want rebirth but that's cool though, I've been wanting to get into the series for the interesting story but only mk2 and Victory and wanna play from the start lol
